If the USA does not intend to honour the obligation to defend NATO because European countries dont join an offensive war of choice against Iran that we have absolutely no obligation to join, the USA membership of NATO is already worthless. The NATO oath to defend each other is unconditional. If you dont intend to honour it because you are offended about disagreements that have nothing to do with the treaty obligation that you have sworn to uphold, your are not a realiable ally. Tresties with you are worthless and your word means nothing. Unfortunately, that seems to be the case for the USA.

Under the terms of our alliance, we're under no obligation to let you use our airspace for this stupidity, but honestly if you feel that way just leave. Stop talking about it and just get the fuck out. You won't though because, as I explained in the past, the European alliance is a bargain for the US even if we refuse to help you destroying the world economy for no reason. Everyone who understands how US power actually works knows that, even if you don't because you're a blabbering moron, but I don't even want to argue with Americans about that anymore. It's just tiresome of listening to you complain that we don't pull our weight and threatening to leave us to fend for ourselves without ever doing it. Right now you just sound like a woman who threatens to leave her husband every time he beats her up but always ends up staying. Just withdraw from NATO, pack up your shit and leave your bases in Europe. We'll see how much you like it when you have to rely on dysfunctional third-world states for logistical support and have to say goodbye to European cooperation on things like export controls against China. But if you're not going to do it, just shut the fuck up.

I refuse to believe you guys don't see the problem here. It's one thing for the Europeans not to provide direct support for the operation. It's another for France to deny the use of its airspace for cargo deliveries or for the UK to muddle over domestic base usage. There is no point in being in an alliance that can't provide such basic guarantees of cooperation.

Let me break this down simply: We have a greed problem. We can afford Medicare for All. We can afford to house every person sleeping on the street. We can afford to make public college tuition free and guarantee access to universal pre-k to every child in America. The money exists. I’ve never seen such a disconnect between the commentary on this site and what I hear in the real world. I’ve talked to dozens of normal conservatives in real life about the Iran War and I haven’t met a single one who’s actually enthusiastically in favor of it. At best they’re warily optimistic. In most cases they’re opposed. In some cases they’re not only opposed but deeply furious. And yet here if you utter a word of criticism about the war you’ll be shouted down by throngs of alleged American conservatives who allegedly have wanted nothing more than for America to go to war with Iran. It just doesn’t reflect what I see on the ground. That’s not just cope because my position is unpopular with “my side.” I’ve held plenty of unpopular positions. I really don’t care. But in this case the social media vs real world divide is stark and unlike anything I’ve seen before.

A lot of people recently commented on how @megynkelly has a rule on her show that her guests aren’t allowed to attack Tucker Carlson. The reason for this is because Megyn and @TuckerCarlson’s shows are both run by Red Seat Ventures, which is now ironically owned by Fox Corp, which owns Fox News. Red Seat Ventures wants to have a monopoly over all conservative podcasting, which is why Tucker and Megyn have a vested interest in attacking all of the conservative competition in Independent media. It’s ironic that Fox Corp now owns Red Seat Ventures. In a sense, the toxic culture and anti-American and anti-Jewish rhetoric coming out of their shows is attributable to Fox Corp. It appears that the commentators who push the most deranged Jew hate and Islamic sympathizing content are all partnered with Red Seat Ventures. @redseatventures. Megyn Kelly has a business interest in not going after Red Seat, as it produces both her show and Tucker’s show. Red Seat Ventures has a total interest in attacking every other conservative commentator with a large following because they want to serve as the gatekeepers for all conservative podcasts. Megyn and Tucker pretend to be principled, but this is further evidence all they care about is money. Some of the other people managed by Red Seat Ventures include: @piersmorgan @imbrettcooper @BillOReilly @JesseKellyDC @seanspicer @RitaPanahi @DLoesch @JillianMichaels @itslinklauren @MarkHalperin @kilmeade @willcain @guypbenson @Gutfeldfox It almost seems like a deliberate sabotage campaign by Fox Corp to create an anti-Trump media campaign against President Trump outside of Fox News to destroy MAGA and undermine President Trump. Very deceptive. Funny how Megyn and Tucker always speak badly about Fox News when Fox Corp owns Red Seat Ventures. Just more deception from the Woke Reich.
