@Rajatsoni I remember when bitcoin was around 20,000 then it went down to like 6000. Must mean that it is a broken product.

Same reason drummers weren’t replaced by drum machines.

The fact that DJs are bigger than ever, yet their job can easily be automated tells you a great deal about how AI will work in practice in the real world

@Alexfeinberg Starting with the sora users who were promised the future of video production.

@TFTC21 How much are the other AI video generators losing per day?

OpenAI is winding down the standalone Sora app, the AI video platform that was reportedly losing $15 million per day.
OpenAI is pulling back from the consumer Sora experience roughly six months after its high-profile launch. The company has already sunset the original Sora model and is shifting video capabilities toward integration with ChatGPT rather than maintaining a standalone product.
Sora first previewed in February 2024 and launched publicly in December of that year. The second iteration, Sora 2, arrived in September 2025 with a standalone social-style app that generated stunningly realistic videos from text prompts. It gained massive initial hype and downloads, but engagement and spending dropped sharply by early 2026.
The economics never worked at consumer scale. By late 2025, Forbes estimated OpenAI was losing approximately $15 million per day on Sora, roughly $5 billion per year. OpenAI's own head of Sora called the economics "completely unsustainable." Each short video cost an estimated $1–1.30 in compute, and millions were being generated daily on a mostly free tier.
Video generation is orders of magnitude more expensive than text or image generation. Even for the best-funded AI company in the world, the unit economics of consumer-scale video didn't pencil out.
The underlying video model technology isn't dead, OpenAI is likely to integrate video capabilities into ChatGPT over time. But the standalone consumer product that launched to enormous fanfare just six months ago is being wound down.

@KimblynFant @LauraLoomer That’s kind of my point. Why are people traveling for fun with a baby? That baby needs to lay low while its brain develops.
English

@ckirk47 @LauraLoomer This is hilarious🤣🤣🤣🤣
Not all people that travel are doing it for work. 🤦🏻♀️
English

Not in Business or First class. People pay to have comfort in Business and First class so they can work, not listen to crying babies.
I don’t want to listen to crying babies when I’m traveling for work and paying more for comfort while I work.

@Skint_Eastwood1 Idk. You stand in front of a bike you’re opening yourself up for an ass whooping.

It captures exactly what caused Ritchson to snap and beat the crap out of Taylor.

🚨 “I Pushed him TWICE... Then He Kicked the Crap Out of Me" – Neighbor Breaks Silence on Viral Beatdown Ronnie Taylor, the guy "Reacher" star Alan Ritchson beat up explains how the fight started in the first place. “I did push him because he was coming towards me on his bike. He did it again a second time. I pushed him a second time, then he got off his bike and kicked the crap out of me.”

@ckirk47 @LauraLoomer What if your infant requires a specialist that lives in a different location?
English

@ellieAPR @LauraLoomer The baby will want an explanation. They’re supposed to lay low while their brains develop.
English

@ckirk47 @LauraLoomer Parents dont owe anyone an explanation as to why they travel with babies. And they don’t need to be on any strangers timetable when deciding when to go to the Bahamas.
English

@barstoolsports I had a big friend back in the day and for whatever reason people always picked fights with him. Never went well.

@theisabelb Naaaa. Parents and new babies need to stay put for a little while. It’s not about annoying people.
English

@JaCisar @LauraLoomer You need to be living in the same city as the grandparents so they can help you with the kids.
English

@ckirk47 @LauraLoomer 1) elderly grandparents unable to fly is one reason
2) none of anyone’s business
English

@nay4_tay @LauraLoomer Absolutely. Not questioning anybody’s rights here. Just certain parents motives. People trying to prove something when they should be laying low with a new child in most cases.
English

@ckirk47 @LauraLoomer Here’s the thing: families travel places and have every right. Sometimes it’s for fun, sometimes it’s for things like funerals, special events, and other non business and vacay related activities.
English

@tim_mckinley @LauraLoomer They should def fly with you. No brainer. I’m mainly talking about the new moms that have something to prove.
English

@ckirk47 @LauraLoomer So, when I transferred overseas as a military member I should have left my children behind?
English

@ATalmudist @LauraLoomer Ya. I have 3 sons I raise by myself. We opt for road trips. I realize there are other reasons to fly w babies but felt like asking some questions.
English

@LauraLoomer Why are people traveling with babies? If you’re working, your baby doesn’t need to come with, visiting relatives can come to you and your Instagram post baby glow up pics in the Bahamas can wait. The baby doesn’t care.
