quality of performances and entertainment are different things. you can have boring but effective sides which consistently do the basics well i can take a lack of entertainment in the short term - it's how badly #ReadingFC fail at the basics on days like this that gets me

@notrating1 Hit the nail on the head there, we have decent players, they just don’t understand how to play under such a negative system. Leam sold us a dream of attacking football, then took away our opportunity to attack, make it make sense 🤷‍♂️

This gets to the crux of a lot of the LR scepticism from me. Who looks at the squad and determines the inept defence is what you want to build around and then beyond that completely bypass the strong midfield in possession by hoofing it up to the meh forwards? #readingfc

@AndyRFCCharman @SeanMobsby I've been saying this for ages. I don't think they know either. Because these are great players (Wing, Pereira et al). But it's like they suddenly don't know how to play well. When we know they do. So what on earth is he telling them in training and team talks? Baffling!

I’m gutted that all these great flair players we have are being turned into ordinary L1 players. Wing and Savage were unstoppable for us these last few seasons. You build a team around players like this, not by pass them in a game. Get Leam out before it’s too late.#readingfc

@hf36___ @Reading106 there's definitely some blame that the players deserve but mainly it goes to Richardson. Would've lost by about 6 if it wasn't for Pereira, Paudie and Derrick. Rest of them looked absolute dogshite thanks to this setup.

I'm not gaffer out, that won't happen. -I gather Leams philosophy, as it was at Wigan, is play nasty, just get 3 points and win ugly. -Does he distrust the players? Are the players in the attacking half not good enough? -Not keeping a clean sheet in 13 out of 14? #readingfc
