Time for a little #vibecode show and tell: I made a Spotify jukebox! Made to run on a iPad at parties, it'll be a central spot to search/add songs without jumbling multiple devices or clearing queues on accident (yes, it happens, a lot). Here's a little video showing how it works! #buildinpublic

Before the month is over I'd like to try: - the new @stitchbygoogle drop - anything that @_davideast touches is gonna be golden - @opencode because most the people I respect swear by it (and it's worked on by some goats) - shipping my next idea completely inside of Agent Runners by @Netlify...i've been doing more tasks inside of it, but I really need more eyes on the end to end build and maintenance of a project Anything I'm missing? Or that I should try next month?

@levelsio @TermiusHQ @AnthropicAI This is actually solvable with a lightweight VPS agent that stays running and accepts authenticated requests. I run Claude Code on a VPS for exactly this - phone, laptop, doesn't matter where I am. The SSH dependency goes away.

So many retro projects getting revived now with AI, which ones should I check out? I saw people reverse engineering Gameboy games etc.

@leemartin @googlechrome Nothing like going to log into your Google account and seeing a work email from that one job you had for three months seven years ago

This might be the most niche question I've ever asked here, but here goes: is anyone running OpenClaw on an old MacBook Pro that has the Touch Bar? (remember the Touch Bar?)

pretty rad to rip multiple Agent Runner sessions on @netlify at once, and watch them all complete tasks in unison without colliding. and you can mix-and-match models!

@kepano I wasn't sure all podcasts had transcripts by default, and assumed I'd need to "scrape" the audio. I'll check what my podcasts offer!

@clarklab you can already do that? defuddle is just an html-to-md library, so it should be able to grab the transcript if the site supports it

Defuddle now returns Youtube transcripts! Paste a YouTube link into defuddle.md to get a markdown transcript with timestamps, chapters, and pretty good diarization! ...or if you just want to read it, try the new Reader mode in Obsidian Web Clipper powered by Defuddle.

@kepano Ah nice! Last time I checked, the YouTube transcripts weren't quiiiite accurate enough for our clients, but that was like 2 years ago. I'll give it a new look, thanks!

@clarklab there's no secrets, everything is open source (MIT) — it's just getting the transcript directly from YouTube and cleaning it up github.com/kepano/defuddle

@kepano And +1 for podcast support (I think I saw someone else mention it). I'd LOVE to setup an automation that just dropped full transcripts of each target podcast episode as soon as they are released.

@kepano Whoa can we get a little peek behind the scenes? How does this work? Lately I've used OpenAI Whisper locally to pull transcripts, but that's kinda a hassle. This looks amazing!

@ameliadimz @ConanOBrien This is an amazing photo and I don't want to sound too much like a critique but I have an idea, try it out next time: crinkle fry as Wario-style moustache

As someone who is house shopping right now, I'm still shocked how impossible it is to get a mortgage without talking to an human who just punches all your info into a form for you. There are thousands of mortgage startups pretending to automate, and they all have a human call you about 5 minutes into the process. There's no way this is how many buys a house 5 years from now. Also taxes! Take all the tax jobs, I wouldn't even blink.

Growing suspicion that there are vanishingly few use cases for consumer agents. People don’t do work in their personal lives. The only people who do are sf dorks using spreadsheets to plan trips to tahoe
