@RH_AVFC @villareport Liverpool are the bad guys! Villa offered to send him back or to renegotiate the terms of the loan. Liverpool rejected all options. They don't want him back because of his salary and won't remove the obligation. Liverpool are happy to leave him in our reserves!

We reportedly signed Yasin Özcan for €7m. If we’re paying Besiktas €21m + Özcan for Tammy Abraham, it means we’re paying around €28m. If we factor in the reported €140k/week wages he’s on, it’s a very short-term, typical Unai Emery signing. Hopefully it works out ✍️ #avfc

Unai Emery has won 11 games in a row… You guys need to remember that Villa have been absolutely handicapped with PSR for the last 2 seasons and have had to sell a lot of players to comply to the rules without replacing them. This is genuinely crazy.

I understand that every movement in a club — especially when someone key in the strategy leaves — creates hysteria (mostly in the parallel world of social media). By the way, you can find plenty about the relationship between Roberto Olabe and Unai on #RiseoftheVillans. Yes, you read that correctly. Unai is not leaving. Neither is Damià. You can relax. The project continues — the rise even. Nobody said it would be easy, or a perfect upward trajectory. With ups and downs, the club keeps growing. And now, more than ever, fans need to help. It’s easy after beating Bayern or PSG. But it’s now when your weight and your voice must project support.

And to get revenues and break the evil circle we need UNAI, owners engaged, success, time and good players and good business people like Francesco Calvo! But mainly we need togheterness and unity. The rules were introduced to stop the ‘Big Six’ becoming a ‘Big Eight’ or ‘Big Ten’ and make it difficult for ambitious/aspirational clubs such as Villa, Newcastle & Forest from using owner money to challenge the existing elite by creating a glass ceiling. Either have rules which have been stress tested to stop exploitation of related party transactions loopholes etc OR scrap them totally. What we have is neither and it’s a mess where creative accountants and lawyers are worth as much as players.

@HIExpress Disgusting experience at your Holiday Inn Express York yesterday. After check in we went to our room to find it already occupied! Reception then could not find us another room and left our young family stranded at 7pm with no hotel. Awful service!
