It did help our military in catching Osama bin Laden in Pakistan. btw- don't want the CIA to be capturing terrorists ? The software does save the lives of military members in combat. The software is being used in hospitals. It was used in the recent flooding. It is used commercially in creating an ontology around logistics and communications within commercial companies. One of its strengths is it audits its use - so if someone were to try to abuse it - there is an immutable audit trail.

It has been clear that Iran was as much a threat to the gulf states, Saudi Arabia and Jordan as it was to Israel. That should be evident now. But not to AOC. AOC would probably wake up when she turns on her TV to watch Los Angeles engulfed in a mushroom cloud. As a former Democrat (who didn't vote for either candidate in the latest election) I view the outright anti-US sentiment coming from AOC and others in the party as how far extreme left the party has gone. It left me. There are many reasons that the current administration have articulated for entering this war. Previously even Hillary Clinton said she would attack Iran to prevent them from acquiring nuclear weapons. What's changed. A new flock of no-nothings in Congress. Consider a nuclear Iran with hypersonic missiles that can already reach Europe and that they are working with Russia and China to develop ICBMs. AOC really doesn't care because protecting America comes in second to her own ego and protecting her seriously flawed vision of the world. Her concept of danger is flawed as well - lending itself to ignore that Iran was on the verge of developing nuclear weapons while their leaders were shouting "Death to America". But if you really think about it she has no sense of admitting that our past policies have failed completely regarding Iran. And of course, no sorrow for the hundreds of thousands of citizens and murdered and jailed. I am surprised she doesn't wear hijab in solidarity with a IRGC regime that has also oppressed women, jailed them, raped them and murdered them - but then that apparently is not her concern.

AOC: The vast majority of Americans are against a war with Iran. Two things can be true at the same time: We can acknowledge the brutal reality of the Iranian regime and their murdering of protesters. And we can also know for sure that a forever war will not resolve that issue. We’ve seen what’s happened in other areas in the Middle East — in Libya, in Syria, and beyond. Of course, the war in Iraq. We already have multiple American service members who are dead for an illegal action that the president has pursued with no plan out. They don’t know why they got into this war. They’re talking about a hundred different reasons, and they don’t know how they’re getting out. They have plunged the world into major global instability. Things have never been more dangerous in many ways, and it is our responsibility to stabilize the situation and bring us back from the brink. And a war with Iran is not how we do that, and it’s not how we accomplish anyone’s goals.

Trump sent our servicemembers into a war of choice from his beach club in Florida. With no clear objectives or any sense of an endgame. And without any authorization from Congress—no public hearings, no justification to the American people. I will vote to end this war.

UN secretary general Guterres didn’t come to the UN floor to lecture the IRGC about “international law” and morality when they massacred over 30,000 protesters six weeks ago—but he did congratulate them on the anniversary of the revolution they committed that massacre to protect. You won’t find a better illustration of how broken and corrupt the international system has become since its slow hijack by Third Worldists—or of why morality always trumps law, particularly “international law.” America and Israel are literally saving the world from wicked clowns and hypocrites like Guterres.
