Incredibly proud to share my wife @cleejin's new children's book: "Hami's Journey Home" - hamisjourneyhome.com Hami is short for Hal-mu-nee, which is the Korean word for grandma. The story is about her grandma's life: from fleeing North Korea as a child - alone - to meeting her husband and building a family and new life in 🇨🇦. It's a universal story that any descendant of immigrants can resonate with: first giving up everything and losing all sense of home, to struggling to integrate in a new place, to finally realizing that a home is more than a place - it's what you make of life. It's beautifully illustrated, heartwarming, and a great way to introduce your kids to their heritage as well as be thankful for where they live today. Please check it out, share it with anyone you think it would resonate with, and see the video to watch her process in building it.

@TOfoodie A few friends and I launched babyintow.ca yesterday and it does exactly this (rating for stoller space, change table, nursing etc.) First version is for the East end but we're expanding to diff parts of TO. If you have any tips to share do give us a shout!

Looking for a map or guide for baby-friendly restaurants in Toronto, breweries, bars, etc. with details of whether it has room for strollers and change table(s). Does it exist?

@cleejin I love the detail for all the locations and the eye for design. It's soothing. Nicely done.

Inbetween baby's naps and coffee we shipped a site with the goal of making it easier for parents to step outside with their baby for some fresh air. It's in beta so would love some feedback or local tips! --> babyintow.ca

Launch day! 🎉 What started as a fun conversation with @cleejin a few months ago has turned into a full-blown MVP product. Excited to get feedback, and make plans to grow to more neighbourhoods! babyintow.ca

babyintow.ca: a bootstrapped product to help parents find baby friendly local spots, now in beta. Built by 3 moms while on mat leave @cleejin (wifey), @mleibovic, and @lindzington. They were literally coding/designing while holding babies. Can't stop the hustle 🚀

T-minus 1 wk until my tour of duty with @code4ca comes to a close. It was a term well spent unpacking the adult ed space and building products to help address the low literacy and numeracy skills of adults in Ontario (fyi, it’s 46% and 53% respectively)

@julesmaitland and BCDevExchange talks at yesterday @code4ca showcase were spot on. They’re building working *and* useful software that helps the world around us - from staying safe from floods to protecting wildlife. 👏🏻
