@anumness It was indeed ugly in the first beta afair, they improved it a lot later.

Remember the time when we though liquid glass in iOS was ugly 🙃 And now everything but liquid glass feels ugly.

I've been localising a lot of my apps recently, and the most painful part: Updating the text in all my existing English screenshots. So I made an open source Claude skill that does it for me. Select your languages from a list, drop your existing screenshots in, Claude will give you the translations to double check, hit go and all the screenshots are generated, in up to 20 languages. Context switching is hard af. Took me a week of constant headaches to get used to it, but it’s probably one of the highest-leverage skills you can build in the agentic era, especially if you’re juggling a 9-5 and indie stuff.

Bye bye San Francisco 👋 It was my first time in the USA, so here is what surprised me: - SF is like X IRL. Tons of billboards ads for Vercel, PostHog, and AI startups - You can bump into anyone and start a conversation. Ppl are very friendly - Food is mediocre imho - It’s expensive AF. $10k/mo is just above survival - The tech grind is contagious. Makes you wanna ship more, as @sobedominik said. - Air quality is awesome (very low PM2.5) - You go from multibillion startup office to super poor area in 1 block (note to self: don’t follow Google Maps “busy area”) - The city is infested by self driving cars.
