@formularacers_ @Formula24hrs @wearetherace Imagine the scenes with either an Italian driver or Italian team winning the WDC.

🚨 | NEW: Imola has emerged as a late contender to potentially host an F1 race at the end of 2026, in the event of further cancellations to circuits currently on the calendar.
There is even the possibility Imola could host the season finale.

everyone’s jumping on Charles (as usual) but where was this energy just a few races ago when he received an unfair TWENTY-SECOND penalty despite having damage (he did)
similar incidents happened and didn’t result in a 20-second penalty but hey it’s Leclerc so it doesn’t matter

F1's stewards have now admitted Charles Leclerc should have been penalised for colliding with Oscar Piastri during last Sunday's Belgian GP: the-race.com/formula-1/f1-s…

@hoonnelli In Mexico when Liam was beefing with checo they litraly put a picture up of him w devil horns

People complaining about sky italy as if british media never fueled things up for non brits drivers… come on guys, that’s what media does. Ofc they’ll show preference more towards drivers from their own nationality. Didn’t we learn to ignore them? The drivers aren’t the one writing articles…
English

@liv16_liv The person it would of hurt most is Hamilton as they couldn’t of double stacked him

@toponelli12 @kimionpole He didn’t get a lap on the board in softs so the p13 is his rlly messy lap on mediums
English

@kimionpole Exactly like they were practicing long runs and Kimi was top 2 and only did one set of softs
English

@toponelli12 @kimivault And also Kimi didn’t get a lap on the softs in the board
English

@kimivault To be fair I think that Kimi and Bono will figure out the isssue like always so im pretty sure it’ll all be fine
English

@F1BigData The teammates who had a lower top speed all finished higher then there teammates

@LandosHopes @TrackSimsF1 And it’s fp1 lando has a rlly good way of trying to build up into the weekend fp1 don’t rlly mater
English

@JP4good @autosport But it’s not just abt battery’s there is less downforce there rear snaps out more the cars are thinner , the tires are different . The chassis regs I think are realy good it’s just the battery that’s shit .
English

@autosport No Lando. The problem isn’t about adapting. It’s about adapting to something that goes against the very DNA of F1. Drivers really shouldn’t be asked to adapt to this concept.
English

‘If you're not ready to adapt, you're not good enough’ - Lando Norris did not hold back when asked if F1 drivers have to be adaptable in 2026 ⤵️

@Avni0411 @ln4norris But tbf lando had this last ur he didn’t agree with the car and he didn’t feel like he suited it as much but he adapted and got past it
English

lando was asked about george russell having to change his driving style to suit the mercedes:
"i mean, i've had to change my driving style every single year of my life. i guess for him [george] it's worked for 20 years, for me it's not worked. my driving style worked back in 2018 when i did my test year. that's probably about it. ever since then i've had to change.
i think the more experience you have in formula 1, the better equipped you should be. if you're not ready to adapt to a different car then you're not at a good enough level. it's our job, it's what we've got paid millions to do. it's to drive any car you get given, whether it's a good one, a bad one, an easy one or a hard one. you have to do it.
every single race i come into at the minute, i feel like i have to completely forget the last weekend and learn how to drive a new car, because that's how it is for us. every driver is different. but for me, my whole career in F1 has been about how i can change my driving style every season."

?? Я была уверена что в этот раз будет очередь Джорджа
Откладывать это на конец сезона когда это может сыграть куда бОльшую роль в чемпионате?

🚨 Fred Vesti will take over Kimi’s W17 for FP1 in Hungary 🇭🇺
Русский

@silverstrack Sure, but I still think it would be good to have direct comparison from a driver who drove both cars
English

on one side, it’s good because george clearly needs the practice session right now. on the other, we’re gonna have to fit two of them post-break 😭 (probably monza / mexico if i had to guess)

🚨 Fred Vesti will take over Kimi’s W17 for FP1 in Hungary 🇭🇺
English

I'd REALLY rather that Fred drive George's car this time:
1. Fred gets valuable correlation data driving these sessions, which is EXTENSIVELY used to develop the car in the simulator; this would mean that >DEVELOPMENT before & after SUMMER BREAK will be FOCUSED ON KIMI'S CAR<. NOT ideal when it has been found that the two cars are significantly different.
2. Fred will be the only driver to have ever driven both cars, so he might be able to give the Mercedes engineers valuable insight into how & why the 2 cars are deploying differently.
3. George will have to give up two FP1 sessions after summer break, likely including ABU DHABI - NOT ideal when possibly in the title contention.

@demirussells ( btw this is a genuine question ) do you think that merc has controls over kimis and George’s own social media acounts where they post there families friends lives as they wish to get them to post something neither of them wanted to post ?
English
