Over summer I belatedly discovered @TheRestHistory podcast w @holland_tom & @dcsandbrook. What took me so long? I’ve listened to episodes on Jesus, Lady Jane Grey, the Battle of Trafalgar, the Loch Ness Monster and China & WWII. So interesting and so much fun. Kudos gents!

@LesterJez @thefoodmarshall @Tiffany_King Lots of hail damage in Murrumbateman and Hall. We escaped serious damage at Clonakilla, but vineyards just 1 kilometre to our East were not so fortunate. Very tough for the district so soon after the smoke disaster of 2020.

It’s not length of time it’s about preaching that is relavant and engaging. A two-minute boring homily is too long. It’s easy to lose interest in some homilies after 20 seconds.
