This refers to a v interesting ergodic policy discussion. I argued that higher tax rates unfairly hit people who only earn big briefly - and tax rates should be cumulative. Roger has a much bigger idea - your first $X00,000 of lifetime earnings should be untaxed. @ole_b_peters
