Half of developers worldwide use Windows, yet developer tooling from Silicon Valley companies is abysmal on Windows. I run into it constantly. Just today I found that Codex app creates an empty '$null' file every time it runs anything in its sandbox.

@Dv8ted2121 @WindowsLatest A small portion of ppl prefer vertical when they have wide screens. In my case for some reason I use Taskbar on bottom, however in my Linux distros I tend to put dock on the left

@WindowsLatest I do not understand the desire to move it. It is going to take up the same amount of space. You do not get any extra screen space.

In fact, Microsoft has plans to upgrade dark mode across Windows 11, build modern UI for pop-ups/dialogs, and even shift the React-based Start menu to WinUI.
