Criticising Chief Minister Vijay's (#TVKVijay) government is fair in a democracy. But before constantly questioning the new administration, former Chief Minister, former MLA, and former serial actor Mr. M.K Stalin should also explain why the #DMK government often failed to give clear answers on major crime related incidents during its rule. Even through RTI requests, complete information was rarely made available to the public. After governing in that manner, repeatedly targeting the next government alone does not seem entirely fair. Vijay has only just taken oath as Chief Minister. At least give the government six months. Once the honeymoon period is over, people themselves will judge how his administration performs. The reality is that many voters supported change because they were unhappy with the way the DMK government functioned. Personally, I do feel happy that the DMK government was voted out. But at the same time, it is disappointing to see that a certain dominant lobby still continues within the party. Whether it is language based or community based, people can clearly sense that such a group still holds influence. Using alliance parties to indirectly attack opponents or provoking coalition partners against each other are all outdated political techniques. Stalin and the DMK need to understand that this is the Gen Z era, and politics today works very differently from the past. Just like how Lord Murugan is believed to have guided even Lord Shiva in mythology, maybe it would do some good if Udhayanidhi also advises Stalin on how the current generation thinks and responds politically. Even an ordinary common man in Tamil Nadu knows very well that whenever the DMK government leaves office, the state treasury is usually pushed into severe financial stress. After a new government takes charge, its biggest challenge always becomes finding ways to rebuild revenue and stabilise the finances again. People across every corner of Tamil Nadu have been saying the same thing for years, that the DMK government leaves behind massive financial burdens. Increasing the state's debt by several lakh crores within just five years and indirectly placing that burden on every Tamil citizen is not something that can simply be brushed aside. After leaving behind such a situation, if Stalin thinks he can now sit comfortably at the Chitharanjan Salai residence and casually make political remarks about anything and everything, it is unlikely to resonate with people the way he expects. @mkstalin @TVKVijayHQ @JhonArokiasamy @BussyAnand @CMOTamilnadu
