Tilting to different pitches is one of the biggest separators in hitting. We stay connected the whole time and adjust using our shoulders. Lower pitch? More tilt. Higher pitch? Less tilt (flatter shoulders). The key: We don't tilt early then swing — we rotate and let the shoulders tilt naturally to match the pitch height at the same time. (Tilt is good posture; collapsing the back shoulder is bad posture — big difference!) Video below shows it in action. Watch how the shoulders adjust while everything stays connected.
