Man who went viral for remaining in his seat as he ate food during the WH Correspondents' Dinner shooting says he didn't want his new tux on the dirty Hilton floor. He also said he is from New York, so he hears sirens and activity all the time. "I’m a New Yorker. We live with sirens and activity happening all the time," Michael Glantz, an agent at Creative Artists Agency, said. "I wasn’t scared. There are hundreds of Secret Service agents hurtling themselves over tables and chairs, and I wanted to watch." "First of all, I have a bad back. I couldn’t get on the floor, and if I did get on the floor, they’d have to bring in people to get me off the floor. And No. 2, I’m a hygiene freak. There was no freaking way I was getting in my new tux on the dirty Hilton floor. It was not happening."

I bought a Tesla. Never thought I’d get an electric vehicle, but took a ride in a buddy’s Tesla and changed my mind. I’ve been using the supervised self-driving mode for my daily commute into DC. It’s pretty amazing. Today the car suddenly moved into the left lane, very abruptly. In that split second a very large piece of debris blew into the lane I had been in. The Tesla self driving system saw what I couldn’t see. When I drive I can only see from the perspective of the driver side front seat. The Tesla has multiple censors with different angles of view. It saw what I couldn’t. Importantly, even I I had seen it at the same time, the split second that it would have taken me to check blind spots and then consciously make the decision to move over would have taken too long. The Tesla knew all these variables simultaneously and almost instantly and was able to avoid impact safely. Well done @elonmusk and @Tesla team.

Yesterday I tried MAD MAX Mode on FSD for the first time… and holy shit, it’s absolutely insane! Fast as hell but extremely careful and precise. I ran it from highway all the way into the city: 0 disengagements the entire drive. It was confidently passing cars left and right, smartly switching lanes to find the fastest path, and just overall driving like a pro. I actually had to stay alert and double-check mirrors/cameras every time it signaled because it was moving so decisively. 😂 It even handled a sketchy situation perfectly: a car aggressively sped out from a gas station to pass a bus right as we were approaching. FSD instantly braked, created space, and let the guy in safely. I swear I could feel the FSD thinking, “What is this idiot doing? Maintaining distance.”😂 One funny moment: it stopped abruptly at a yellow light before a right turn because of a “No Turn on Red” sign high up on the pole that I’d never noticed before!! Final note: This is my second Model 3 Performance. I bought my first one in 2019 with FSD, and the difference is night and day. What FSD is doing today is better than 99% of human drivers on the road, myself included. Insanely impressive work, @Tesla team! @elonmusk

Markets don’t care how you feel... Neither does the iron! You build unbreakable mindset the same way you build a strong body: 1 disciplined rep at a time. Weak body = weak decisions under pressure. Train hard. Trade harder.

Trading and Training have the same rules: - Prep - Show up daily - Execute - Master your emotions. Embrace the grind on the days you don’t feel like it. The traders who win are the ones who treat their body and mind like their highest-conviction position. To me Fitness isn’t optional. It’s an edge. 💪📈

Positive Tesla Diner review from Forbes' Brooke Crothers: "On Saturday, the Tesla Diner was busy if not packed at times. And obviously not failing, though some blogs and reports want you desperately to believe otherwise. Contrary to all these eatery blogs and car blogs that say the Tesla Diner is a flop, a failure, a disaster, that is not true, as so many things that are often written about Tesla. There are car blogs that devote all their time to taking down Tesla. I went to the Diner on Friday April 3 and Saturday April 4. I estimate that on both days 90+ percent of the chargers (of the 80 Superchargers) were being used. By that metric alone, the Diner is a success. Yes, I’ve been inside the Diner when it’s slow. But as a Supercharger location with the option to grab a snack it’s a success. It seems that the ulterior motive of some “reviews” is to bash Elon Musk and tell you what a bad, bad man he is. That doesn’t give the reader an honest evaluation of the Tesla Diner as a great charging destination, which, again, is its primary purpose for the vast majority of visitors. It's extremely clean. If you want to come to a pristine place to eat, the Tesla Diner is it."

Interesting perspective, thanks for the question! It’s a common concern right now, so I’m happy to share my take. I see it completely differently. My kids already know robots will soon be in our home (I originally wanted 4 Optimus, but now I think 2 or even 1 will be enough). If someone had told you 50 years ago that a small box would let every person on Earth carry a camera, video recorder, and a way to instantly call loved ones with no wires… you’d probably think they were crazy. Yet here we are, everyone has a smartphone. As for my job? I’m a full-time day trader. The biggest daily battle for every trader (whether you’re brand new or have 50 years of experience) is mastering emotions. I can’t wait to train my Optimus to handle executions for me. That means more freedom and more time with my family, not less. The fear that “robots will take our jobs” is understandable, but I think it’s the wrong question to ask... Robots and automation have already been here for decades. Elevator operators are gone. When you fly, autopilot handles most of the journey. In a Tesla, the car is already doing a huge part of the driving. Physical humanoid robots are simply the next step. The better question is: How will they help me and my family? I’ve already planned how Optimus will improve our lives, and I’m genuinely excited. Instead of fearing the future, I personally choose to focus on the positive ways this technology can serve humanity 😊

It truly is… plus, you order directly from the screen of your Tesla and can go pick up the food directly inside when it’s ready.. so no wait! And the cherry on top, the huge screen outside sync with your Tesla screen so you can watch/sync the sound in your car.. the Tesla team thought about it all! Legit so cool!

@coachyoann @SawyerMerritt Can the robot apply butter-flavored topping oil to the popcorn, or is technology not there yet? I'd imagine the robot's finger dexterity goes out the window once the oil is involved and gets over everything. 🤖🍿👍 @elonmusk

The idea that the Tesla Diner could “fail” is hilarious. Tesla Diner is an 80 stall EV charging station in the heart of Los Angeles, that serves all EVs (not just Teslas). You have no idea how badly these chargers were needed. The old 8 stall station in West Hollywood was a total nightmare. This isn’t Tesla getting into the restaurant business. The fact that they have a cool restaurant and store on site while you charge is just a bonus. The Tesla Diner is not going anywhere. Even if nobody ever bought any food, they would still keep it open! But from what i’ve seen visiting often, there’s always people there and it’s been a huge success for Tesla. Tesla also often uses it as an event space, holding presentations on things like their new solar cells.
