Well they did kill 300+ ostriches alleging H5N1 infection, in British Columbia. They refused to test the birds before gunning them down in the dark. Leaving a massive kill pen for thousands of birds and rodents to gorge, on the remains over several days. In fact the kill pen hay was left there for months. No one to this day has been able to explain how shooting ostriches with live ammunition in an open air kill pen, stops the spread of an airborne virus that can last days or even weeks inside a dead animal.

Flock was used to stop a spree shooter in Austin yesterday. The city of Austin canceled its Flock subscription last year and despite the efforts of hundreds of officers and multiple police helicopters over several hours, they were unable to locate the shooters. The shooters were located when they passed a flock camera in Manor, TX (pop 21,000).

Maybe you wonder why I, a mere gun blog, makes a big deal about Flock and similar tech? OK here’s a real world situation that can easily happen and has likely happened. Unfortunately to drive on public roads without getting hassled by the cops, your car needs a license plate. That’s tied to you, the owner of the vehicle. Flock isn’t just a traffic camera, it’s an AI/ML enabled (wait for it) flock of cameras that transmit all their video and audio to the mothership. Not a government server somewhere but, to keep it simple, a big giant cloud computer instance owned and run by Flock, the company. Government users, as well as Flock employees here in the US and overseas, can log in and query the system based on license plate number or even vehicle description and get a full history of that vehicle’s movements throughout the Flock network over multiple jurisdictions. Someone in New York can track a car from Armonk all the way to Homestead FL if they feel like it from the comfort of their desk. On a daily level, someone can get a pretty accurate picture of someone’s life just by monitoring their movements via Flock. And I’m using this example to rattle the cage of the “back the blue unconditionally” crowd in 2A. OK - your car has license plate ABC 123 - and Flock knows this. Someone can enter your tag in Flock and see what you are doing on a daily basis. You leave your home where the neighborhood is under the Flock panopticon. Flock sees you drive to Dunkin’ on Main Street, then you drop your kid off at XYZ Daycare. Then you go to work at the local IT consulting firm in ZZZ industrial park. You go pick up a quick deli sandwich for lunch at Food Lion. You go back to work. On the way home you stop off at Bob’s Guns, and stay for 20 minutes while buying some ammo. Then you go home. Everywhere there’s a Flock camera. Now Flock knows the following about you: - You live at 123 Wisteria Lane - Your kid is in daycare (means he’s likely under 5) - You work at ZZZ - You go cheap on lunch - You own at least one gun Your license plate is tied to you so they now have your name and assumed-to-be-private details of your life, like that you are armed. On the reverse of that, the Flock camera outside of Bob’s Guns has been recording the plates of everyone going into the parking lot. No need for a firearms registry when Flock is doing the work. All of this is done without a warrant and the data is available to anyone with a certain level of access to the system, whether it’s a cop, or a Flock technician in the Philippines. FYI Flock uses overseas contractors for support and AI annotation. The 2018 Carpenter decision at SCOTUS ruled that pervasive surveillance where one can divine private details of someone’s life is a 4th Amendment violation in absence of a specific warrant. Flock is illegal, unconstitutional and immoral. And a danger to everyone, not just gun owners.

📍 Use the DeFlock Map We’re building a public map of ALPRs, AI surveillance cameras, drones, and connected surveillance infrastructure so communities can see what’s being installed around them. The DeFlock App works great, too! deflock.org

I think people who don’t own homes are the ones who support this foolishness. And that homeowner clearly doesn’t live in a HOA. Anyway, if she did that in my neighborhood, I’d call the cops (she couldn’t but that is so damn unsightly and ruins the neighborhood and kills property values). I have a veggie garden that’s grown in a long rectangular wooden enclosure sold for contained gardens. If you want a ranch or a farm, go live in the country. Her plants are covering the sidewalk. So children need to ride their bikes in the street to appease you idiots? I love planting fruit trees and veggies but I have to get them approved, it has to be in the back and it has to be orderly and contained.

“I planted sunflowers and vegetables outside my home. The city says it’s not mine.” “It grew a few feet too close to the corner — so they tore out ALL of it.” Taxpayer-funded crews sent to rip up a woman’s food over a few feet of dirt.

“The world today has 6.8 billion people. That’s headed up to about nine billion. Now, if we do a really great job on new vaccines, health care, reproductive health services, we could lower that by, perhaps, 10 or 15%.” ⁃Bill Gates, 2010

Our investigators lost critical hours tracking down today’s shooting suspects because Austin’s City Council chose politics over public safety and prevented APD from using license plate readers and other crime-fighting technology. Those cameras could have helped identify suspect vehicles faster, track movements across the city, and potentially stop additional shootings before more innocent Austinites became victims. Instead, our officers were handcuffed by their own city leaders. While violent criminals exploit every advantage they can get, Austin police are being denied tools that departments across the country use every day to solve violent crimes and protect their communities. How many more victims will it take before this council starts prioritizing public safety over political activism?
World News Tonight@ABCWorldNews

Arrests have been made in Austin after at least 10 shootings in the last 24 hours. four victims have been shot, police believe the shootings have been at random. Alex Stone reports. abcnews.link/Rb7av6X

@RepFine That's because those voters were weaned on the slogan "Islam is a religion of peace," instead of "Most terrorists are Muslim because of the teachings of that cult." It's as simple as not lying to our children.

24 years ago, Muslim terrorists sent two planes into the World Trade Center in New York City on September 11, 2001. 24 years later, NYC has elected their first-ever Muslim Mayor, and Muslim terrorists are proudly waving Muslim terror group flags right next to where 9/11 took place. The choice is ours America. We either wake up or we will be conquered by those seeking to destroy America and our way of life.

@imUrB00gieman All the additional productivity brought by AI and robots will be converted to cash and used to enrich the wealthy. The poor will starve.

Elon, “I think money disappears as a concept, honestly. In a future where anyone can have anything, you no longer need money as a database for labor allocation. If AI and robotics are big enough to satisfy all human needs, then money is no longer necessary. Its relevance declines dramatically.” (Elon Musk, 2025 podcast) Only a ret*rd would live their life based on that conjecture, obviously Elon, the richest man on Earth still needs more money.

@Nomadgreg @SAAS1972N @OmarBaddar 🚩 That's moving the goalpost. 🚩 Malnutrition isn't the same as starving and most Americans are malnourished because of the government already. Why add more government involvement?

@SAAS1972N @OmarBaddar Just because you choose to ignore the people starving in countries with billionaires doesn't mean they dont exist. In the US, for example, malnutrition deaths have exploded 600% between 2024 and 2025. You choose to ignore the suffering of those you deem lesser than human.

If we were a small community of 50 people & one person decided to hoard half the collective food available while several people were starving, we'd immediately recognize the grotesque unfairness. But when you scale up to 350 million people & diffuse the injustice, you start believing that some people "earned" their billions while millions of people who work infinitely harder deserve not being able to have basic financial security.

@sola_chad What evidence? There's more evidence that Zeus existed than Jesus. Just look at the manuscripts and it should provide more than enough evidence of this. Just trust me bro. Also, Zeus came down to Earth many times. There are witnesses to him.
