Relax. I am not smearing you. I hear you that the headline doesn't match the message. I am sure we agree on the shallowness and even destructiveness of misleading AI marketing. Perhaps we are also both annoyed with how the critical humanities is content to debunk marketing as if it is debunking the thing itself. Critical AI Studies is built on this foundation of sand. Present company excluded.

"Storytelling" is everywhere. Everything is _not_ story! Narrative isn't the only way to interpret our world. It can often be a band-aid to patch over contradictions, differences, inconsistencies. Whatever truth may be, it might lie in the spaces between what we think we know.
