Hi @Nigel_Farage you just said “I didn’t wear a mask last time and I won’t wear them this time. This is nonsense.” Here you are, not only wearing a mask, but also getting vaccinated AND banging a pot like it needs more cowbell.

@reformexposed @Nigel_Farage Another fake misleading post. For the vax it was mandatory to pop on a mask. I never wore one at all bar the vax or in the shop briefly. You're post makes no sense as he like many never wore won bar brief necessity. Just another pointless post

@butterflyashr @FUDdaily The correct answer is: none. They don’t even need GCSEs. Many in my experience have no knowledge of data protection, Caldicott or the common law duty of confidentiality. In fact they frequently breach those rules. Ergo, they are not qualified to triage patients.

@FUDdaily It's not that. They need to submit details on the system so that the GP can prioritise based on the details given by the patient. It's standard. Receptionists at the GP are highly trained & and qualified - and adhere to data protection & and confidentiality.

Why do GP practices think I want to discuss my health problems with a receptionist?

@archivesgb Exactly. Which makes me wonder how many actually do this. And who / what they are.

@colinpenman And they in fact form an important user base. Freed from the confines of teaching and admin, they can finally complete their archival projects and get them published. Why on earth would archives not want that?

This article suggests that libraries and archives take their users more seriously if they have a university email rather than a personal one. If that is the case then the said archive is missing out on opportunities and failing to give equitable access. theguardian.com/commentisfree/…
