A total of 34 candidates have been confirmed for the Clacton constituency by-election, triggered by the resignation of Nigel Farage.
It is thought to be the highest number of candidates to stand in a by-election in modern times. Voters will go to the polls on 13 August.

Andy Burnham didn’t exactly test himself - Cardiff is one of Labour’s very few remaining strongholds in Wales. A Labour council, with a new Labour leader, and four local Labour MPs covering the larger area. Even one of those questioning him was from the Labour Cardiff controlled council!!!
