This feels very hard to admit, but I’m currently in a psychiatric hospital after attempting to take my own life. Having been here since August 1st, it’s been an isolating, distressing and painful experience- but I’m being looked after & being here is nothing to be ashamed of.

Today we remember the one and only Dr Kate Granger MBE who died on this day in 2016. Kate was an inspiration to thousands across the NHS and her legacy lives on in so much of what we do. 2023 marks 10 years since she launched the #HelloMyNameIs campaign.
