Just want to say thank you to everyone who has shown me kindness and support since I got laid off on Thursday. This place gets a lot of much deserved criticism but it’s also a place where you build a community and I’m grateful for that. Finally did a chin up today. And I can lift myself up on my resistance straps fully with my legs extended.
Here I am a formerly severely obese woman pushing 40, dealing with hypermobility and an autoimmune joint disease, and I am stronger now than I ever have been.

Finally got my fighting pants (I’m on the left in red) from our group order so I can switch from my battle kilt. They are way too big but so is my gambeson.
