Footage circulating on Telegram claims to show Russian soldiers creeping through a disused gas pipeline for several miles to launch a surprise attack on Ukraine.

Update from Kursk: Russian forces continued their offensive and have made significant progress in a number of directions. In the east, a Russian column advanced down the R200 highway to Sudzha and linked up with the remnants of the soldiers from the gas pipeline. This new connection in the lines allowed Russia to begin a new attack to the northwest, where they advanced along the windbreaks on either side of the railway tracks, and entered the eastern part of the village of Kubatkin. Kubatkin, and the neighbouring village of Zazulevka were both quickly captured, therefore trapping Ukrainian forces inside the Ivashkovskii forest, and cutting them off from the rest of Ukrainian-controlled Kursk Oblast. Additionally, Russian forces advanced from the east, clearing empty Ukrainian positions in the forest plantations, and captured the village of Mykhailovka after attacking from two directions. They also advanced from the northeast, and captured the village of Pravda, pushing any remaining Ukrainian forces into Ivashkovskii (which is most likely in the grey zone) and the adjacent forest. The nearby treelines were also captured. Further north, Russian forces captured the stronghold village of Malaya Loknya, raising their flag over the communications tower. This means that Viktorovka and Nikolskii are in the grey zone, along with a large area east of the Malaya Loknya River. And in the west, Russian forces attacked the settlement of Loknya, capturing it, and the nearby treelines and forested area. + ~55.43km² in favour of Russia.

@davidericstan @United24media I don't think he's talking about some kind of unified command. He wants a completely unified European army, where everyone is recruited together, goes through basic training together, learns the same language, uses the same equipment, etc.

Looks like the VH-60 Blackhawk military helicopter blindsided the AA flight with 60+ on board. Seeing reports everywhere it had its transponder off as it headed into a heavy flight path. Completely outrageous.

Now we are getting somewhere. There are dangers to returning to zones affected by the hurricane, yes, but there are true pioneers in America. If they are willing to collectively move forward and accept the risks, it should be their freedom to do so. These people are not children; they are strong individuals with the experience to tackle and overcome their challenges, as well as having the willpower and perseverance to succeed. It is your freedom to stay home, to stay safe (should home exist). It is theirs to manage their crisis. The Native Americans were crippled—what do you think is happening to the people of America now.

Apparently this is by design. In the canyon away from structures so water drops focused in Malibu.

I am being frequently briefed on the wildfires in west Los Angeles. My team and I are in touch with state and local officials, and I have offered any federal assistance that is needed to help suppress the terrible Pacific Palisades fire. Earlier tonight, FEMA approved a Fire Management Assistance Grant to support areas that are impacted and help reimburse the state of California for the immediate firefighting costs. My Administration will do everything it can to support the response.   I urge the residents of the Pacific Palisades and the surrounding areas of Los Angeles to stay vigilant and listen to local officials.

@JaredHeston @treeclowntops @POTUS They’re trying to get the DWP pumps back on, but that requires a firefighter escort for the DWP employee. A lot of the pump stations are cut off by fire.

@LAVia08 @POTUS This isn’t true. The scoopers were working from nearly the second it started. Biden’s TFR did prevent media helicopters from getting over the fire early, which may have convinced more people to leave.

@POTUS Your presence here in Los Angeles added to the fire not being contained because it was a no fly zone so the big scoopers couldn’t fetch water. The fire started at around 10AM and still grounded by 2PM, all because of you the fire spread more!!!🤬😡
