I went into debt so my college friend could join me for the summer. In May, one of my college best friends mentioned he had an open summer. And while I didn't have budget for it yet, he was too talented NOT to bring him on. So, I did. Since, we've trained every day, hosted some events, and grew Sapience from zero to 11.5k/month. I appreciate you betting your time on me brother

What I've done these past days: - Built our internal admin platform, fully operational with our supabase, we will be adding posthog access soon for finances part (right now we just have contract size/$ as a column in our people tab) - Our inbox tool, is hooked up to Austin's LinkedIn inbox for outbound/inbound monitoring thru Unipile - All of our CRM spreadsheets are connected with live editing throughout them all - Taking charge of our content/education side of Sapience, lots of educational GTM content (more to be announced soon), deep research into growth/gtm eng techniques, and case studies on current clients

New growth stack: narrative-based outreach x.melea.ai shows where your buyers’ attention is right now Gojiberry turns that signal into an outreach campaign workflow: 1. used Melea to find a Fable 5 narrative my audience already cares about 2. gave Gojiberry the narrative + ICP: solo founders, startup builders, content marketers, and lean marketing agencies 3. asked it to find leads posting about Fable 5 and GTM hacks 4. reviewed the leads, added the best ones to a campaign 5. reached out with a useful intro instead of a cold pitch: “saw you posting about Fable 5. I made a quick GTM playbook around it…” The leads are context-matched by what they’re paying attention to right now @romanbuildsaas @pierreeliottlal @Dylan_txa

Giving Clawdbot control of my online gambling account. It plays perfect by the book blackjack. Zero emotion. $5,000 a hand. I’d say wish me luck but Clawdbot doesn’t need it.

Since moving to Germany, I’ve learned that salt is a big no when it comes to treating sidewalks and stairs. Our neighbors told us we could be fined up to €10,000 for using it. 🫠 In New York, my sister fell down our steps after slipping on ice and broke her arm and ribs. After that, I diligently salted those steps! Despite snow removal, our steps here in Berlin are COVERED in thick ice. The little rocks we’ve used don’t help much. What do others use that actually works because my stairs feel like an accident waiting to happen. I’ve seen some reports that say I can use salt on personal property like steps, but I’m nervous after my neighbor’s warning.

NEW: What Travis Kalanick Taught Bradley Tusk, & Why He Closed His VC Fund Bradley Tusk, Uber's first regulatory advisor, joins Sourcery to discuss what he learned working closely w/ Travis Kalanick, from Uber’s early regulatory battles throughout their massive scaling. We also cover the real economics of running a VC fund.. and Bradley's decision to ultimately shut down his fund & return to an equity-for-services model. This was a really fun conversation, a bit philosophical, very candid, & I'm sure we could've kept talking for hours. Highlights: (00:00) Bradley Tusk (01:25) How AI infrastructure spending is being driven by market narratives (03:10) DeepSeek, inference models, & compute efficiency (03:55) Where the $2T in AI data-center & energy capital is flowing (07:10) Nuclear energy & the broader implications of AI’s power demand (16:30) Zero-sum vs abundance thinking in tech & politics (17:35) How people find meaning, purpose, & balance in high-pressure work (27:00) Why Bradley invests heavily in his team & removes non-essential tasks (32:00) How Bradley’s experience with Travis Kalanick shaped his view of founders (32:35) “Travis’s Law” & turning users into political advocates (37:05) Why Bradley decided to stop raising traditional VC funds (44:30) The economics of mid-sized funds & why they’re so difficult to run (49:20) How AI valuations differ from non-AI valuations (54:40) What people misunderstand about Silicon Valley & DC (59:40) AI, unemployment risk, & why Bradley believes UBI will be necessary (01:05:50) The biggest lessons Bradley learned from Travis Kalanick
