The dating process is actually making me incredibly sad. I’m 24 so I want to be on a path of dating someone for 2-3 years, being engaged for a year, married & having a lot of children. The apps are horrible. The matches either speak to me like I’m a piece of meat, or the conversation is so boring I have no interest in actually meeting. I’ve been on 16 first dates since my last relationship & they have all been bad dates. Guys in person don’t seem confident enough to approach me. The entire thing has me in tears atm.

Hiring hack for startups: Be open to sponsoring visas for applicants 1 - It's not that expensive relative to the cost of recruiting great people 2 - Immigrants make for better employees (work hard, less likely to switch jobs etc.)

this sounds ridiculous but this AI-generated photo of me changed my life here's how it all happened all throughout my life, I've never been an athlete. I did a little running, but I was slow. I did a little lifting, but I was weak. I forever have this image of myself in my head as a skinny nerdy kinda guy who would probably become a barista before he does a 300lb deadlift. but then in late 2023, I tried this AI photo app that spit out this photo of me - TOTALLY JACKED (but a little cross eyed) I've never looked like that but intuitively I decided to make it the background of my phone for inspiration when I'm working out. lo and behold, after more than a year of hitting the gym 6-7 days a week, that image is actually pretty close to reality. woo woo friends will say this is manifestation, but it's pretty simple to understand with a different word: representation people can rise to achieve anything they see a representation of. this is why it's such a powerful force for creating a more equal society. more women become CEOs and scientists when they see more women as CEOs and scientists. 100 years ago, many just didn't think this was a possibility because they didn't see it. this is probably the most underrated benefit of AI: it allows people to create any visual representation of themselves they want. not as a silly social media joke, but as a destination on a map that for the first time, they can actually plot a course for.

Cutting out alcohol has felt like a cheat code. I'd like to meet other founders in NYC who have done the same, so I'm hosting a dinner! For sober founders and those flirting with the idea. Who should I bring? 🗽

Eight years ago, I was flipping burgers in tenderloin 18 months later, I was working for Adobe 4 years ago, I started a company with $60,000 personal savings. 3 years later I was a complete failure with $40,000 credit card debt, 2 failed companies and burned out. Worst of all, I had to figure out personal and companies tax filings. So @IsaMacedaAli and I created @AskTaxGPT Today, we are joining S24 @ycombinator

True, we just consolidated the following tools: ChiliPiper -> HubSpot ($20k saved) Outreach -> HubSpot ($18k saved) Seamless / ZoomInfo / 6Sense -> Clay (~$60k saved) HubSpot is adding more value than any the ~30 SaaS tools we have across sales and marketing. Waiting for them to have a true Gong replacement. Gong's AI is really good so hard to replace with HubSpot's call recording tool.

If I were to teach a session about sourcing deals, would that be of interest? Below is a blurred out screenshot of my "wall of channels"- each blue post-it is a different channel/strategy I use to source my deals. It’s about 30% finished. If you’d like to listen to a session, leave a comment. If I get enough yes's, I'll do it this month.

Who else is into hybrid training? Running and Lifting weights. Putting together a group chat because it's not easy to find people that are into both. More context I've been doing hybrid for about 2 years now. - Running 3-4x / week - Lifting 3x / week Hybrid's unique because you have different constraints than people that train just one modality. Additionally, I have the constraints that come with an intense, demanding job and long hours. Put differently, I don't have time to train 2x / day right now. I continually run into challenges that come with managing training for both modalities. This is compounded by being busy. Would love to crowdsource with a few other people that are into this and take hybrid training seriously. Thinking an iMessage or WhatsApp GC. Just a few people. See where that goes. If you're interested, DM me.
