Ferrari said the goal of the Luce EV’s design was to achieve the lowest coefficient of drag. The Luce has a 0.254 Cd. For some comparison: • Model S: 0.208 Cd • Model 3: 0.219 Cd • Model Y: 0.23 Cd • Model X: 024 Cd Just proves that having the lowest possible Cd doesn’t mean you have to design an ugly car.

@liorsela Let’s say FSD was completed & completely unsupervised, causing to go crazy for S and X. Even then, it still makes more sense to fully focus on ramping Optimus production.

Unpopular opinion: Tesla’s decision to stop manufacturing the Model X and S wasn’t well thought out or long planned. Tesla lightly refreshed these models less than a year ago, adding a new Frost Blue color, quieter cabin, smoother ride, adaptive headlights, and a front camera. In my opinion, if Tesla knew these models would be discontinued, a refresh would not have been introduced.
