Hong Kong remains most expensive in the world for real estate but Seoul is moving up very very fast to now THIRD in the world. Asia is people rich and land poor so it's consistently amongst the most expensive. Not only that, people tend to invest in real estate vs financial assets.

@Kaorumitsurugi 2012 was when Fate/Zero, JoJo, Psycho Pass (and SAO) aired, and in the wake of Madoka Magica and Steins Gate. It was the prime time of Gen Urobuchi and Mari Okada, and there were a bunch of subcurrents like Gundam Unicorn, VN adaptations, etc. You're mixing 2010 with 2012.

Last time I checked even Big Banks were doing at minimum LC mediums like code a LRU Cache or some 2-D DP problem. It's not bad if you prepared for it, but class fundamentals won't get you through them in time.

In my company, I am allowing candidates to use any ai agent they want to code a simple dsa problem. And out of 8 or 10 interviews i took, only 1 passed. So, even with AI, candidates are unable to clear rounds. Main gap i found is no knowledge on fundamentals. AI can code but candidates are understanding neither the problem nor the solution.

Software hiring has become absurd. At work, you’re expected to use AI to offload manual coding and move faster. Then, to get your next contract, you’re asked to code from memory with no assistance. Pass the interview - and you’re expected to use AI again. It has never been this broken.

Honestly it makes perfect sense that everybody is still playing games made in 2013. Every video game has already been made. The industry has scammed everyone into thinking "new" games (arcades fps 9320418, open world game 43127391 etc) are real to enforce planned obsolescence

That means you turn the AGI on, it extracts all patterns and insights from all data you give it, as well as external sources, autonomously interviews everyone in your company, and learns - puts together the optimal strategy and then also implements it - at any given time, 24/7. None of us stand a chance. Someone asked me about a year ago 'so what's the next play? How do we play this?' You don't play this bro. You're not outsmarting a superintelligence. Just do whatever you want, none of it will matter post AGI.
