She also confirmed bill text drops in the next few days after 10 months of daily work. Her words: "It's time to land this plane." The wildcard is Senator Thune, who makes the final call on which week it hits the Senate floor. And over a month ago he said the key to getting Democrats on board is one word: ethics. That's why this new bill text is everything. If it includes new ethics provisions, that could move the needle toward 60 votes.
