@cosmosadderall My wife and I have a standing Friday lunch date at Taco Bell. 😁 We go probably twice a month. We have to take breaks for several weeks every now and then.
Our anniversary this year fell on a Friday, I surprised her (with help from my kids) by classing up our normal table

I swore off tweeting about Utah politics once I moved away, but this is more of a federal matter. Dr. Kofoed is right though... perhaps ~legislating~ should fall to the legislature.

Hot take that may offend some friends: proof that executive orders are a terrible way to run our country. In two years, under a D pres, they will expand these monuments back up again w/o solving any concerns. Congress: pick a size, make them national parks, invest, and be done.

Don't hate this take IF congressional districting is more proportional to population size. We have one representative per ~750,000 people. When the Constitution was adopted, that number was closer to one per 60,000

I swear every Sunday there's a new arch-villain that reveals themself on LDS twitter. Usually angry about what deacons are wearing or what language an RM is giving their testimony in. Almost always has something to say about women and/or politics.

Returned sister missionary just bore her testimony in Spanish to a ward where nobody speaks Spanish. Imagine how much more everyone would have been edified had we been able to understand the words.

My perception is that in the 60s, 70s and 80s the choir was good but not great (more power than finesse), which caused a feeling among elites that we Mormons overrated our choir. But then the choir got legit good in the 2000s, and now we might underrate them?

My upbringing (Motab 24/7 house) inoculated me to just how fantastic the Tabernacle Choir actually is. When the organ comes in in “His Voice as the Sound” seldom fails to bring a tear to my eye. I vow to never under appreciate the choir again🤝

@AceHessian I testified VERY briefly in Bulgarian, and then testified again in English at the end cause ultimately, it didn't matter at all.
That's the take-home message from this whole saga. This stuff just doesn't matter as much as some people try to make it haha

@cosmosadderall I didn't use my mission language in my homecoming talk because I had always found it a bit awkward. Feeling embarrassed easily is just a glitch I have. Later, I wish I had used the language so I could show off.
