@mustbemarisa87 @DolphinsTalk Growing up a Dolphins fan in Bills country, Bryan Cox was hands down my favorite player… outside of Dan Marino. He understood.
English

51 days until football season. The player we will be spotlighting today is #51 Bryan Cox.
Bryan Cox was drafted by the Dolphins in the 5th round of the 1991 NFL Draft out of Western Illinois and he quickly made a name for himself.
Cox was a dominant pass rusher and vocal leader on Miami’s defense throughout the early ’90s. He earned three Pro Bowl selections as a Dolphin and recorded 14 sacks in 1992, helping lead the team to the AFC Championship Game that season.
While known for his fiery personality and confrontations with rivals (aka the Bills), Cox was productive and passionate, leaving a lasting imprint on Dolphins history.

@DPGBehler It seems like a large number of deconstructionists are seeking a way to justify a sin, or package of them, they’re deeply interwoven with by doing theological and semantic gymnastics.
English

Deconstructionism is a false religion.
People going through deconstruction is another matter.
I remember when John Cooper of Skillet rightly called Deconstructionism a false religion, and Progressive “Christians” falsely accused him of saying anyone going through deconstruction is a bad person. One even lied and said he was promoting violence against Progressives.

Scripted curriculum (of high quality) is good for students and teachers. It provides clarity and cohesiveness for students and lightens the preparation time and pressure for teachers.

@gospel4grace @cryptorebel_SV I believe salvation is found in Christ alone. Acts 5:21, 2 Corinthians 5:21. Salvation is not dependent on works at all, but works should follow in a regenerate heart.
English

@countgoesfull @cryptorebel_SV So you agree it’s the walk, and there are theoretically saved people who are saved by faith but have zero good works?
English

@cryptorebel_SV @gospel4grace Right… I’m on board with that. Paul is addressing the church in Ephesus. Those that are saved, predestined to do good works. Not adding to scripture. If I’m walking with Christ in obedience I’m walking in those good works. Salvation then sanctification.
English

@countgoesfull @gospel4grace So you were adding to scripture. Even disobedience for believers ends up working for God, just like when Joseph's brothers sinned and threw him into a ditch to be sold. All things work together for good to them that love God. The obedience that matter is that of faith:

English

@cryptorebel_SV @gospel4grace I was using obedience and good works synonymously. Obedience is outward manifestation of salvation, hence visible works.

@Minuet888 @GCEagle14 There’s plenty to stop it and/or delay it for years. For example, lack of sufficient evidence. I will say, it is much easier if the parent or guardian is the catalyst for an IEP, not an educator.
English

@countgoesfull @GCEagle14 Exactly but that doesn’t make it difficult to get getting an IEP is basically just saying you want one and waiting in the process there’s nothing to stop it
English

A lot of kids with IEPs are just assholes who don’t know consequences and the parents don’t want to try.

@DPGBehler One does recognize the grace of Christ as an atoning sacrifice w/o the action of the Holy Spirit in the person’s heart. These definitions are not mutually exclusive. Rather an amalgamation of these definitions would be on point.
English

Comparisons of definitions of grace using Ephesians 2:8
Group A: “For it is by [the giving of the Son of God to atone for sins on the cross] you have been saved through faith. This is not of yourselves, [the giving of the Son to atone] is the gift of God.”
Group B: “For it is by [an internal, unmediated, spiritual act of the Holy Spirit in your heart that causes a moral change allowing you to respond positively to the gospel] you have been saved through faith. This is not of yourselves, [this necessary act of the Spirit within you] is the gift of God.”

@unpopanon @GCEagle14 A work plan is not necessarily an IEP. I’m not saying parents and society are not free of guilt in how their children behave. I am saying, IEPs are not flippantly given out.
English

@Minuet888 @GCEagle14 I never said you need to get a lawyer. You waiting the process is your child’s educators putting together proof that your child needs the IEP.
English

@countgoesfull @GCEagle14 As a teacher and a special needs mom, I know exactly how to get an IEP and it actually is not that difficult and you do not need to get a lawyer. You do not need to get hardly anything you just need to wait the process and you get it and that is the biggest problem
