@MatthewBerman Fun technique I discovered is to think about a scifi superpower. What would I do if I could generate forcefields? Teleportation? Antigravity? Nanofabricator swarms? Then I work through all the practical details and use cases. It occupies my mind but without stress.

I can't fall asleep at night. I've tried everything, nothing helps. * Exercise daily * Sunlight first thing in the morning * First and last coffee 7:30am * No screens before bed * Last meal 4 hours before bed * Meditation * Sleep restriction * I don't drink alcohol * Only get in bed when ready to sleep * Weighted blanket * 8 Sleep set to cool * Room is cold But, without fail, my brain won't let me sleep. I get to the point where I'm about to fall asleep, then I wake up and that's it...I'm up. Any suggestions are very welcome. cc @bryan_johnson

@joepemberton An icon is worth about 5 words. Unless it's an arrow. Then it's worth one of a thousand words. But you don't know which.

@typographica another way to devalue fonts is to increase the supply: train more type designers and make better tools. I'm all for both.

@WilliamBerkson It's too subtle a point for 140 chars, but TNT isn't just book spacing squished. There is more than one approach.

@frerejones Not upsetting. People just think the solution looks more like text and less like a logotype.

@monokromfonts @typographica Tight not touching is less even, which is why it doesn't work for text. Logotypes are different.

@typographica @monokromfonts The looser spacing works for text, not for the logotype. Better cohesion with a tight not touching approach.

@okaytype most geometric sans types might be better described as round sans.
