RWA NEWS & INSIGHTS - Class of 2016 🍻
I’m not posting as much right now because I’m currently writing a full video education course on crypto PERPs. I’ve also just finished an in-depth #RWAs video course after eight months of research, designed to help future #RWA investors truly understand what they’re investing in, and to explain step by step how real-world assets are brought onchain and made available to the public. This course is for investors interested in learning more about RWAs and helping them fully understand this market before jumping in. I have also included many sections explaining to asset holders who might be interested in understanding the benefits of RWAing their assets to the public. including full legal frameworks, necessary and step-by-step guides. The link to enrol is coming very soon 🍻

RWA NEWS & INSIGHTS - Class of 2016 🍻
Yes, I think projects like the Trump Maldives development could absolutely help set a precedent for more private, gated secondary RWA marketplaces, especially within luxury real estate. Investors will want to see completed projects, reliable income generation, strong occupancy or usage metrics, smooth secondary resales, and most importantly, happy investors who can validate that the model actually works in practice. I think Trump pulls that off with his RWA. I also think there is a growing demand for exactly the kind of model you are describing. Most large real estate investors prefer to keep the majority of their capital allocated toward top-tier jurisdictions and lower-risk markets, but many are still willing to allocate a smaller percentage of their portfolio toward higher-growth or more speculative regions if the opportunity is compelling enough. In many cases, that “alternative allocation” may only represent 5% of a portfolio, but across global wealth, that is still an enormous amount of capital looking for unique opportunities. Also, there is probably enough local demand for those types of RWAs alone. The most important thing will be creating high-quality projects combined with an airtight legal and investor protection framework. If investors feel protected, understand the ownership structure clearly, and can see a reliable path toward liquidity through a private secondary marketplace, I think the model becomes very attractive. I also strongly agree with combining tokenized ownership alongside physical usage rights. That is where luxury real estate RWAs become particularly interesting because you are not just offering passive yield, you are offering lifestyle access as well. In emerging luxury regions around the Black Sea or similar markets, that combination works! And honestly, the gated KYC-only structure is def the way to start. Qualified buyers remove noise, filter speculation, and create a more premium environment around the assets themselves. You'll often find buyers will buy multiple units and not just one. So, a better biz model to have fewer (but better) investors for sure ;) I noticed there are already high-end developments in Crimea and surrounding regions, such as MRIYA RESORT & SPA, Krimskiy Briz Villas, Riviera Sunrise Resort & SPA, and Aquamarine Wellness Centre. Projects like these already demonstrate that luxury demand exists. The opportunity may be less about “creating demand” and more about modernising access, liquidity, and ownership infrastructure around that demand. One area I think could become a major upsell opportunity is full-service property management layered into the platform itself. For example, investors could purchase either fractional ownership or entire luxury units while your platform handles bookings, maintenance, cleaning, operations, and day-to-day management according to the investor’s preferences. That creates a far more attractive hands-free ownership experience while also generating an additional recurring revenue stream for the platform itself. A model that combines: premium real estate only fractional tokenized ownership, genuine sustainable yield generation, lifestyle utility, professional management, and a liquid secondary marketplace, could become a very compelling next-generation luxury real estate business model if executed properly. Hope that helps a little, mate. @ZeusRWA could probably answer this better than I.

Appreciate the insights What intrigues me most is the closed-circle resale model you mentioned. In regions like Crimea we’re thinking about building a localized RWA marketplace for high-end properties - gated, KYC-only, focused on serious buyers who value both yield and lifestyle access. Do you think the Trump Maldives project could set a precedent for such private secondary platforms? And would you see value in combining tokenized ownership with physical usage rights in emerging luxury markets (Black Sea, etc)?

Guessing investors who are accepted to be able to actually purchase these will be vetted, and high-net-worth individuals looking to hold long-term for a nice ROI, probably a 2-week free stay every year. Nice income diversification for wealthy people and institutions. They would only flip them if they really increased in value, and as the value is stable with the max income they can produce, not going to make a huge flip. Some smart investors buy 3, two to flip, and one to get for a near-free long-term hold. Just guessing, of course. Don't think they will have any issue reselling these. We might even see a new RWA platform emerge that sells high-end RWA real estate (listing these for resale) only to waiting lists and vetted (invited) investors. Got to be a market in the future for that for a smart broker.

He is known (real estate-wise) as high-end premium finish and build quality through Trump Towers and, of course, his golf courses (his next course in Scotland could be an RWA one?) We need high-quality real estate RWAs to kickstart the real money to enter and do the same. Glad to see quality as opposed to tat, which we dont want to see in RWAs. Yep, he is a wild one, that's for sure 😀

@RWAFoundation_ very, very early on this, as we really need more legal framework and govt legislation in the most desirable jurisdictions. The Trump resort (RWA project) will be interesting to see how that fares, and might kickstart more large-scale global real estate RWAs.

Very useful summary of $rwa yields.
RWA Foundation@RWAFoundation_

The question you should always ask: where does the yield actually come from? “If you don’t know, you are the yield.” @plumenetwork (Nest) → Yield comes from RWA exposure + DeFi strategies layered on top (tokenized assets, lending, structured yield loops) @onrefinance → Yield comes from insurance/reinsurance premiums (you earn by taking underwriting risk vs claims) @MuDigitalHQ → Yield comes from real-world Asian credit markets (corporate lending spreads + structured fixed income) @Securitize → Yield comes from whatever is inside the wrapper (treasuries, private credit, funds. Securitize is just the compliance + tokenization layer) @maplefinance → Yield comes from institutional crypto lending (loans to trading firms, market makers, funds earning spread on deployed capital)

Solana just reached a new ATH in RWA TVL, up 43% QoQ You can get RWA yield that is completely decoupled from crypto You can buy stocks, ETFs, metals, commodities and much more Bridging itself has become so easy that if you don't have funds on Solana you can buy directly using @debridge All of this wasn't possible years ago. You are a few clicks away from building a diversified portfolio onchain.
