The practical takeaway is pretty simple. Use ADP as your baseline. It’s the best single piece of information you have in your draft. Then adjust for what you’re seeing in that specific room and any new information that hasn’t been fully priced in yet.

Does ADP actually matter in Best Ball? A lot of people treat it like it’s either the only thing that matters or completely irrelevant. The reality sits somewhere in the middle, but the historical data leans pretty clearly in one direction. ⬇️

ofcourse i get it, and there is obviously a place for these weekly small stakes contests but like this being150max is crazy its just not gonna move the needle and there was a bunch of hype posts, nobody cares about ppr/half its not anything novel anything you launch will fill i wouldnt take it as a green light like its a good structure, alot of these experimental adv rates and formats have missed the mark from my honest opinion. some more quality midstakes would make the regs very happy

@cryptotho I tried it and it felt no different so I’m all set. It’s not enough of a wrinkle off of the standard format to have the muted ceiling. PPR w/ TEP would have been so much more dynamic
