if you were calculating CLV for a pre-draft best ball draft, would you use the closing ADP for that pre-draft contest or the current ADP from the main slate? there are some weird edge cases like tyler allgeier, who closed at 88 ADP on UD pre-draft, but now has an ADP of 159

@Datphillykyd yeah we're only competing against the teams in the slate we drafted in, but people like to see live market prices. so i guess i'll show both!

Using current ADP for CLV is a great way to visualize maybe how good the picks were but to actually capture how strong your team is relative to the other teams in your pod...or the contests... that would be the pre-clv...I think the Gadsen situation is a great example of that since we now see that pick has lost value but it won't effect anyone that drafted him since his ADP was locked before all that occurred

@FFMichaelK yeah i think that might be most intuitive and should probably be the default setting

@ooooftw Current ADP even though that’s not technically “CLV”. Majority market part of pre-draft is trying to determine the value they get after landing spots are determined

@GaudreauJordan yeah i think i might have to add a setting that lets people choose which one they prefer, because i can't decide haha

@ooooftw Could make the case for both maybe? There might just be a "correct" answer to this but idk lol. I'd guess if there is that it's closing adp for that contest.

@PerfectReality9 hopefully within the next week or so, the Portfolio Tracker is looking good. focusing on the schedule data tomorrow and extension next so it can support DraftKings

one of my favorite parts of building tools is stress testing them to see how far i can push them until things start to lag. i generated 2000 fake best ball teams and uploaded them into the Tracker, and it has essentially zero lag on my laptop. good sign, getting closer to launch

a new tab in the NFL Best Ball Portfolio Tracker lets you search your drafts for combos of any length. here i searched for drafts with Malik, Rhamondre, and Metcalf. then i applied a WR filter to the results and i can see Tee Higgins appears most often on teams with that combo

the new Board tab in the NFL Best Ball Portfolio Tracker shows you an ADP draft board for any slate with your exposures/fees for each player on the board here's the new feature: you can search for player combos of any length and the board will show your exp/fees with that combo

@Not_Joe_Cheese_ @taketheunderzet these are all excellent ideas and i plan on incorporating them into the tool. currently, the Board tab shows an ADP board where you can see 0% exp players but an additional "Fade list" is probably a good idea as well. stay tuned over the next few days i'll post some ideas

@ooooftw @taketheunderzet 1) Will this show My ADP vs Market (to determine (CLV)? 2) I’ve found knowing 0% exp players useful as the summer goes on 3) does this track playoff correlation counts?
