Not saying history will repeat itself exactly here, but if we see anything like we have seen in previous years like April of 2020 maybe BTC.D can roll over a bit and let some other crypto assets take the wheel for a bit.
Been about 5 years since we have seen altcoins gain any real momentum against King #Bitcoin. While most are still arguing that altcoins will never have any sort of real upside again, I think we still have hope given that some things are still lining up well for a short term rally.

But there is no macro supporting altcoins. Liquidity is contracting. Credit is in a bear market. And the business cycle is showing no signs of expansion.
Altcoins have never left the 2022 bear market in reality. Not saying they will never come back from the dead, but unlikely to be now given the situation.

Okay, and let me ask you again, did any hold on to this gains in any meaningful way? Let me help you- the entire altcoin market is down atm- many look like CRV atm regardless of fundamentals. This should make you realize price being down is not an issue with fundamentals- it’s due to a lack of liquidity in the sector as a whole. Unless you think crypto is dead and never going to recover then it’s simply a matter of time before that changes.

if we go a bit lower, I have to decide whether to pull the trigger on some more $CRV or $CVX. So lately, I've been asking myself the same question.
It's a question I get a few times a week, minimum.
Next week I'll be publishing a new article that finally answers the question that I get asked so frequently:
"Should I buy $CRV or $CVX here?"
