Chennai’s iconic Marina Beach is one of five beaches in Tamil Nadu proposed for the prestigious Blue Flag certification—a globally recognized eco-label that promotes sustainable development in coastal areas. To earn this, the beach must meet 33 strict criteria covering water quality, environmental management, education, and safety. Transformation of the Schools is a key project funded by the #CITIIS which is a collaborative effort by @AFD_en @EU_in_India @MoHUA_India with The #TN State. Today, H.E. Mr. Herve Delphin, EU Ambassador to India @EUAmbIndia visited the Middle School in Gandhigramam (one of the project schools) and interacted with the primary students.
