Has anybody else experienced this problem with their energy supplier? And if so, how was it resolved? I am beyond furious. I had an email from @OctopusEnergy saying they were sorry to see me leave. Excuse me? I have not contacted them to request a cancellation. Turns out ….

They tell me on the phone this is done. Yet now I have an email saying they are having trouble with it. It’s a stalemate. I feel like a piggy in the middle of a situation I did not create. This is a joke @BritishGas @OctopusEnergy #energy #electricity #utilities

@BritishGas have made an ‘erroneous error’ I’m told and accidentally taken over my supply. @OctopusEnergy say there is nothing they can do and to cancel with @BritishGas who tell me they cannot cancel the account and that @OctopusEnergy must take the supply back….

@iamtomskinner I have two teens. Thankfully both have jobs, however their employers (hospitality) simply cannot afford the level of staff they once had due to additional money they have to find to find NI employer contribution hikes, minimum wage rises and host of other growing costs.

I just listened on the radio that less and less school leavers/ youngsters have part time jobs in today’s world. I had my paper round from 12 that I loved, I worked in the barber shop on Saturdays making teas and washing hair from 14 and I used to set up market stalls before schools on market days from a kid. I used to love these little jobs an used the money to go West Ham or buy new stuff for my bike…. But apparently in jobs like pot wash/ glass collectors/ paper rounds etc. are on the decline. Is it because there is less of these jobs around nowadays or because mums and dads spoil their kids more in today’s world. The money was always poor, but was good to learn how to save and earn money. What do we all think? Bosh❤️

The service women are receiving on NHS is outrageous @wesstreeting . My daughter has been in pain for 8 years with gyny issues. Today, a year after a scan, the first consultant she’s been able to see @IpswichHosp was unable to answer basic Qs and told her her scan was too old!

@JamesMelville Last year I wrote a piece about a trial in British farming where daffodils were being fed to ruminants with the effect of reducing methane emissions by up to 30%. This kind of natural solution is where the research/trials should be going.

@PeterSweden7 This is insane. There have been studies done with multiple farmers in the West Country/wales using daffodils as a methane reduction method in ruminants, showing promising results. Why are we resorting to chemicals?!

Glad @BBCRadio2 is covering gyny care in UK today. It’s beyond ridiculous. Took 7 years (from age of 11) to confirm my daughter’s pain wasn’t in her head. Wait to see specialist is 46 weeks! In meantime she had to drop an A level and cannot properly get on with her life!

@jk_rowling My daughter suffered severe, debilitating period pain from the age of 11. Frequently dismissed by Drs. Told off for poor attendance despite being desperate to learn. At 18 after 7 years she’s diagnosed with endo. Females do not get the care they deserve here!

Girls must prove that their uterine cramps are painful. Boys must be believed when they say 'I'm a girl'.
