@pupsandpinot @JamesTate121 I’m especially in favor of eliminating all public sector pensions. I can always choose not to purchase a Ford but I am stuck paying a pension to do nothing congress and also stuck with paying pensions to government workers that are incompetent and impossible to terminate

@JamesTate121 Ending pensions is good no matter the circumstances. Once pensions are gone democrats can’t control unions.

@JamesTate121 @jeffreymlevy Convert ALL government workers to 401k style of retirement with a paltry match like we have in the private sector. That includes Congress!

Before Citizens United, billionaires spent around $16 million on presidential elections. In 2024, they spent $2.6 BILLION. And what did they get for that money? They got a MASSIVE tax cut for themselves.

We get our ass kicked every 80 years. And here's why. 👇🏼 After 80 years the generational memory is gone. Everyone who lived through the last crisis is dead. Revolution in 1776. 80 years later — the Civil War. 600,000 dead. We couldn't resolve the stain in the Constitution any other way. 80 years after that — the Great Depression leading into World War II. We're 80 years out again. The last World War II veterans are 100 years old. The institutional memory is gone. And instead of remembering why we came together — we're tearing each other apart. This is the pattern. Every single time. We get beaten badly enough that we look around and say — okay, this is screwed up. How do we fix it? So here's what fixing it looks like: -25 to 50 year plans. -Bipartisan commitment. -Fix K-12 education. -Rebuild the infrastructure. -Jobs training. -Curb the deficit spending. Not a four year political cycle. A generational commitment. We've rebuilt ourselves every 80 years. Time to do it again. @Newsweek

@shazcodes Is that even true that they had the nerve to ask the fired worker to consult for FREE?! I hope he said no

Our ceo fired the entire 12 person QA team last month and replaced them with an ai automated testing pipeline to save $1.2M today, we lost $6M in orders because a bot hallucinated a discount code that made everything in the store 0. The best part? he asked the lead dev to hop on a call with the fired QA lead to see if he’d consult for free to fix it. corporate greed is a mental illness

@kullyspell @JamesEBriggs Agree! Thin resume for POTUS. Never won a statewide election, mayor of a very small city, military service but not as lengthy as others, and transportation sec is not exactly like Sec of State. And just what has he been doing the last 2 yrs besides promoting himself?

After 20+ years of total GOP control at the Statehouse, your electricity bill is higher than the average bill in all of our neighboring states. Our proposals to cancel sales tax and place a moratorium on rate hikes was BLOCKED by Republicans this year.  #tracking-source=home-the-latest" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">nwitimes.com/news/local/art…

I genuinely don’t understand how some person who works for an insurance company can have the ability to decline treatment or deem “not medically necessary” when it is prescribed or ordered by a licensed medical professional. The whole system is unethical.

A hospital can bill $3,200 for a knee injection a physician does for $400. Same needle. Same drug. Same doctor. Different tax ID. That’s not medicine. That’s government sponsored arbitrage.

The American people have the answer. They just have to look at what they already built. This system, with its checks and balances, its processes, its separation of powers, made the United States the most prosperous and arguably the most powerful country in the history of the world. Even Richard Nixon abided by the system when it came for him. And now we’ve decided we want to wreck it. And here’s the thing — I understand it. You grew up being told the system was fair. Work hard. Play by the rules. You’ll get there. And then you watched the system get rigged in real time. -The manufacturing went to China. -The forever wars bled the treasury. -The financial crisis hit and the banks got bailed out The people at the top got super rich. You’re in a full-on affordability crisis. You went from aspirational to desperational. So Trump becomes your avatar for anger. System’s not working for me, so let’s blow up the system. I understand the emotion completely. But here’s the hard truth that nobody who’s angry wants to hear right now: The people who want to blow up the system are going to be hurt the most by blowing it up.

Mexico getting universal healthcare before America is embarrassing. Israel has universal healthcare and America doesn't. Every major democracy around the world has some form of universal healthcare. Not America.

Minor fixes are like maintenance and wear items on a car. You cover it. An ear infection is run of the mill maintenance. If something happens where you are her are admitted to the hospital for multiple days. You pay your deductible and then it’s taken care of after that. Just like a car accident.

My daughter recently had an ear infection. Took her to the doctor, who prescribed an antibiotic. That doctor visit cost $244. My insurance covered $60, so we owe $184 out of pocket. I pay $556/month for family health insurance. Something seems broken.
