Canadians live in a two-tier justice system where judgments against repeat child sex offenders are hidden from the public while peaceful gun owners and Convoy protestors get railroaded with jail time and humiliating open trials. Where’s the justice?

@QScribble35094 @Autistic_Lauren Ok. I’m neurodivergent. However, I mask a lot, I force myself to do things, and tolerate things that are overwhelming to me because: 1) I was taught to, growing up 2) people like you expect me to.

🙈 I agree you can self diagnose, and I think its a really good idea, without a doubt. ... however there are a lot of people who are jumping on a bandwagon in order to excuse their bad behaviour, then hiding behind it like a get out of jail free card - unfortunately those are the ones who are making it harder for those of us who are neurodivergent. There are also a lot of Neurotypicals who think that everyone is neurodivergent - so that also reinforces the idea that because everyone is - they are fine to use the same `excuse`. I don't diagnose anyone as I don't have the qualifications but what I can see are patterns where there are those who make a claim they are but their behaviour just doesn't seem quite applicable. So its a tough one for me because it makes people who are ND look bad and reinforces bad stereotypes. And I have that good old justice sensitivity going on so it irks me. I will likely get a lot of hate for this post but I do think it needs to be said. 😬

@Ampreon25 @Autistic_Lauren Diagnosis has nothing to do with getting a job. It has everything to do with access to services, and requesting accommodations.

@Autistic_Lauren its better to get diagnosed by a therapist or a doctor medical professionals and psychological professionals know human behavior/autonomy more then them diagnosis means you can get a job easier it's more like a proof so people know your this when you get a job/occupation

I’ve been “offered” MAiD while seeking medical care. Many other high cost disabled health users have felt pressured into it. I don’t believe the answer is to restrict it… we need proper safeguards. It should never be offered. Care should be provided first.

@broadwaybabyto First, I’m sorry that MAiD was offered to you. You’re right, you should have been offered the care you need, not MAiD. Second, we agree. Restrictions on eligibility are not the answer, safeguards are. I would love to discuss those safeguards, if you’re willing.

Bill C-9 really dropped a grenade on people's psyche. People are talking about leaving Canada. I get it. But I also don't get it. You put all the work in to leave Canada and then find globalism on the other side of the globe (of all things). Additionally, why not find people that you can work with to push back against the darkness? If 20 families in one region want to leave, then why not get together and talk about doing something. If you are a Christian, wherever you go, you will have to fight, our Lord promised us tribulation in this world. So why not build churches, educate children, evangelize the lost, and nation build in your region instead?
