I still don’t understand how anyone could have watched Jayden Daniels at LSU and thought he would be able to stay healthy in the NFL. He was built like a piece of paper and he craved physicality as a runner. Not a good combination. It was one of the reasons I put a 3rd round pre draft grade on Daniels in this scouting report when I labeled Daniels as a “high injury risk” before the Commanders selected him in the 2024 NFL Draft: firstroundmock.com/2023/12/nfl-hi… Part of grading prospects is mitigating the risk.

@DannyPhantom24 The Micah trade looks better and better as time goes. The injury factor was mentioned by Jerry at the time of the trade. To invest that much cap capital in one player that isnt a qb is risky. Cowboys have thr 12th and 20th pick and can rebuild quickly.

Obviously, I wanted the Packers to lose because it benefits my own team, but I do feel bad for them. They pushed a lot of chips in the middle with the Micah trade, and unfortunately, he got hurt. Green Bay won't have a first-round pick in each of the next two drafts, and Parson's cheap 5th-year option year is gone. Now, he becomes expensive. Plus, this undersized edge rusher has gotten hurt in two straight years and will be coming off an ACL injury with no promises of retaining his elite-level athleticism. Only time will tell. Micah's a special talent, and while I am no longer rooting for his team, I genuinely wish him a full recovery, star or no star.

@WerderEdNFL The Cowboys always have a favorable schedule. They always play home on Thanksgiving then get a mini bye to play next week. If anything the Cowboys need to have their schedules more unfavorable like other teams

The Cowboys, Lions and Chiefs all scheduled to play on Christmas Day after playing on Thanksgiving Day seems to place an unfair burden on each to play so many games at two different points in season in a compressed time frame late in the year when bodies most vulnerable to injury.

#Cowboys lack of accountability with certain players is exactly what put them in these situations. You can’t find a single piece of tape, not from training camp, preseason, or the regular season, that justifies why Kenneth Murray Jr. should’ve been a starting linebacker on this team. This is not an attack on him personally, but his play has been the same all season long. Kenneth Murray has consistently graded near the bottom of the league in coverage, missed tackles at a high rate, and struggled with run fits, the exact issues he dealt with during his time with the Chargers. Those problems didn’t magically disappear. They showed up every week in Dallas. The Cowboys wasted everyone’s time this season by being stubborn with this position. They would have been better off developing someone else and letting them grow into the role because number 59 Kenneth Murray has been a liability all year long with poor angles, slow reaction, and one of the highest missed tackle totals among linebackers.
