Whatever one thinks of Vance, his commentary, or his policy positions, for those of us who love a good upward mobility story & were raised to believe in the promise of America, the fact that the kid in this book will soon be sworn in as US Vice President really is incredible.

I still see alot of comments talking bout how I run. Just look at it like this not everyone gets to work the same way some people walk some people Uber some people might even drive a nice car to work but guess what they made it to work.

A majority of Americans plan to see President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump meet up for their first 2024 debate tonight, according to the latest PBS News/NPR/Marist poll. Overall, 61% of U.S. adults say they will watch all or most of the debate, moderated by CNN anchors Jake Tapper and Dana Bash in Atlanta. Another 24% said they would not watch the debate, but would pay close attention to related news coverage. Fourteen percent said they would avoid the debate altogether. Younger people, especially those between the ages of 18 to 29, are least likely to say they will watch the debate. Older people, especially those age 60 or older, are most likely to watch.
