So because I was on hold/being transferred around for about 10hours the department that could turn my service back on -correcting a mistake that @optimum made, they got my unit and my neighbours confused- had gone home for the night. 😑

Alright so shortly after I posted this I got moved to another queue and got moved around three times, that one was an additional 4hours and 5minutes. finally I ended up getting called back and that call lasted 27minutes

What's the longest y'all have ever stayed on hold for? Yesterday I set a personal record of four hours with @optimum but then they didn't fix what they thought they had and today I broke my own record and am still holding!

@optimum 😔 yesterday after waiting 4hrs a CSR said it would be fixed, today I'm back in the hold cycle (at four hours again) because my account has not been restored. Optimum made a mistake and thought I was moving? Please restore my account and service.

@bennyjohnson @AOC where's the lie though? is she not just saying that putting less money to police services means more money to better educate and support the community? Is that no what defunding is?

@ncLobo @RNanxy @bennyjohnson @AOC @andrewjnorton copy that, I'm so sorry if I'm continuing to miss a point but I'm really not here to argue for strictly increasing an education budget; there are so many community supporting departments that could use the excess of the PD budget.

@RNanxy @andrewjnorton @bennyjohnson @AOC this is great, there are plenty of places that need more funding, education was one that's been mentioned and focused on but *surely* we can find a way to better the 15-19 rather than over policing. divest to invest! love it.

@TheRealMo777 @bennyjohnson @AOC great, respect is key. @aoc isn't saying to defund your suburban police department, in fact I think she's advocating for the inner city communities to fund their PD like yours. So take some of that over spending in the PD and put it into other community supporting departments.
