@AlexanderGlista @iamdanmacintyre @GOtransit @ChristerTepper Yep, Tri-Rail bought this along with GO 703 with the idea of stretching the frame of 703 for the HEP generator off the ACPU. They pulled the HEP generator for spares and then donated the unit to the GCRM. Later was sold to the FRM where it currently sits.

@iamdanmacintyre @GOtransit @christertepper I believe that the unit was purchased by Tri-Rail from GO, and used in the Greater Miami area for a while before being retired. Evidently Tri-Rail never bothered to repaint it!

@TransitMIA Remember, everyone, Metrorail would have connected MIA to Flagler and LeJeune if the 1979 map had been built as intended. @miamidadetpo, @GoCITT - we have the opportunity with the current Metromover study to do it the way it should have been and build the Metrorail West line.

We should be funding better public transportation options to the airport, not ANOTHER parking garage…

DTPW continues working on Inner Loop technical issues related to broken connections and malfunctioning control panels. Several pieces of hardware have been fixed or replaced but we continue working to identify and isolate other issues on the system which 1/2

@volvoshine Metrorail has the speed and capacity. Metromover doesn't. Metrorail's platform for the Flagler line already exists. Metromover's doesn't. Nudge nudge, wink wink - @GoMiamiDade, @GoCITT, @MyFDOT_Miami.

I am MASSIVE MetroMover fan... But this proposal makes absolutely no sense lol. 10 miles on the slow ( Relatively) MetroMove would take like an hour
