I spent months paying recruiting agencies $15k+ to send me the same mediocre SDR candidates I could find myself on LinkedIn. So I built an AI that does the entire job in under 2 hours. For free. Here's why recruiting agencies are the next middleman to get automated: 🧵

@boringmarketer the agencies charging retainers for 6 weeks of work that AI now does in 30 minutes are about to have a really uncomfortable pricing conversation with their clients. the ones that adapt become platforms, the ones that don't become case studies

I have been compressing marketing agency services from 4-6 weeks to 30 minutes during my pilots. There will be brands that operate in house with our infrastructure and there will managed services (ours included) that leverage it. But the traditional agency model is going to be disrupted in a big way. More soon.

@a16z 4x generation growth needed and that's before AI infrastructure is even fully factored in. we need a full grid upgrade the US, plus hardened facilities against potential EMP attacks (can't wait for this narrative in the next bear market)

On my way to interview one of the greatest minds on the planet. A show that will be listened to by millions. On the way, I pass the dorm room I left 11 years ago when I dropped out of my law degree. The safe path is less safe than you think, the risky path is less risky than you think. Chase your dreams with everything. Today.

@HarryStebbings @Jason consistency is the most underrated competitive advantage because it's the one nobody wants to hear about. 11 years and 3000 episodes is the kind of compound interest that no shortcut can fake

Rarely is the action itself hard. What is hard is showing up day in day out, doing the action when everyone else doesn’t. Recording a podcast is not hard. Doing 3,000, 3 per week, 4,000 hours, 10 years. That is hard. @Jason taught me the most valuable thing: “This is a game of who can survive the longest. Just keep going.” 11 years now, we just keep going. 😉

Nobody talks about this: AI removed the skill barrier. So now the game is: - Taste - Positioning - Distribution And beginners are weak at all three.

@jasonlk agreed If AI costs are a rounding error compared to the revenue it generates, optimizing for the cheapest model is just leaving quality on the table. save pennies on tokens, lose dollars on output

"How important is optimizing model costs? In some cases, it's very important. Look at OpenRouter's data. There is a large set of customers optimizing on open source models, mini, haiku, etc. But ... other B2B + AI Apps, it's not that important. The credit costs aren't massive, and the benefits from using the top Opus/Sonnet models are so high ... you still with one platform. And just invest more and more in it." with @HarryStebbings @rodriscoll + me

Vibe coding made the first 20% free. The last 80% reliability, scale, edge cases still costs real engineering. Most people quit at 20% and call it a launch.

Do it. Launch a gummy brand. Add creatine. Put fiber in it. Add protein. Make it spike your testosterone. Make it help you sleep. Chase the LTV. Raise 20 million. Raise 50 million. Beg customers to not churn. Call them if they try. Cry if you have too. Put it all on the line.

@dgt10011 the wildest part is most retail investors can't even participate. a $1tn company being built entirely in private markets means the wealth creation is concentrated before it ever hits a public exchange. by the time there's an IPO the biggest gains are already gone

OpenAI is now worth more than every S&P 500 company except 12. It has no profits. Those 12 companies have a combined age of nearly 1,000 years. OpenAI is 10. The most disruptive wealth creation event in human history is happening right now, entirely in private.

You can launch the same product 3 times on X within 2 weeks and get completely different results. First launch: 2K views Second launch (new hook): 50K views Third launch (more product demo–focused): 200K+ views Same product. Different execution. In this case, the first video was actually the most expensive to produce, but the value prop didn’t resonate. The third launch was done at 2 AM with just a webcam and a laptop, and it crushed. Stop putting all your eggs in one launch basket. If you launch and get 30 views, nobody has heard about your product yet, you should relaunch ASAP. Always be launching

@pmddomingos at this rate we'll be there by 2028.the singularity isn't when machines become smarter than us, it's when a seed round deck with 'AI' in the title auto-generates a trillion dollar market cap

Electricity demand was essentially flat for decades. Now it’s exploding. Heron Power CEO Drew Baglino: "Energy efficiency more or less negated the growth in energy services." "The net electricity delivered to accomplish those energy services stayed basically flat." "Even with all the AI things that are going on… And that has allowed more and more compute capability for the same percentage of GDP electricity production." "It's changing now that we can find more applications for AI than ever before." "We are seeing electricity growth higher than it's ever been before." "It's because we are seeing broad based demand for more electricity — compute, transportation, industrial electrification." @baglino @heronpower
