He kept an Overweight rating and $500 price target, while arguing that businesses like Robotaxis, FSD, insurance, Supercharging, and AI services are becoming more important than traditional delivery numbers. Potter also says Optimus and AI inference could eventually be worth more than Tesla’s other businesses combined.

Y’all, a SpaceX/Tesla merger is purely speculation right now. We don't know when/if it will actually happen. Even if it were officially proposed, it would still need major shareholder approval, with more than 50% of all outstanding Tesla shares voting YES to pass. If shareholders think it’s not a fair deal, they simply won’t approve it. I suggest that people just wait and see if a merger is officially proposed before jumping to conclusions.
