@CryptoTamilanda On the plus side, it's still very early for crypto.
This is a shitty, painful experience, but it's possible to recover.
English

@CryptoTamilanda I'm sorry to say, your funds are likely permanently gone (unless you can track down the scammers through wallet analysis or determining who created the scam website). But it'll be a tough task.
You can try asking in the Yugalabs Discord, but they'll likely say the same thing.

I watch this several times a year. I always try to put myself in the shoes of others, especially when there's something difficult going on. If there's a launch being botched, I try to think of the team. When opensea is down, I try to think of the employees

I'm excited to release a mega-post that @anishagnihotri and I have been hacking away at for the last few weeks:

@gabagooldoteth @UmiHuss @0xSisyphus @ensdomains Consider springing for a Chainalysis subscription? Or a freelancer with a subscription and experience using the service.
English

issue w/ crypto is that frequently bad actors like divergence just stay silent and can come back like nothing happened
If you are interested in supporting further work by myself or @gabagooldoteth , feel free to send ETH to dumpdotvc.eth (also the proud owner of divdotvc.eth)

@gabagooldoteth @DogeBrogan @sungjae_han @0xSisyphus No clue if this person is guessing or has inside info, but may be worth checking with them about what they know...

this address gaming $FORTH airdrop prob also needs public attention: bit.ly/30clPVW
1. receives 200 eth from tornado cash
2. sends small amounts of ampl and eth to over 5000 addresses
3. claim $FORTH airdrop 100 days later and profit ~28 million at the time of airdrop

@dcinvestor Ditto. Can anyone in Marfa set up a laptop with a zoom session open, so we can pretend we're there? lol.

@natealex @artbro_eth @MicallefAnton @FLAMINGODAO @artblocks_io @natealex is modest. After Autoglyphs, his Chainfaces are among the earliest on-chain generative artworks. Check them out.
Mooncats used the blockchain to generate art, but still required a custom JavaScript parser stored on GitHub. So they're not "on-chain", but still cool.
English

@artbro_eth @MicallefAnton @FLAMINGODAO @artblocks_io autoglyphs was the catalyst that spawned some other onchain projects (chainfaces, avastars)
squiggly is the least prominent of the 3, but i think even erick would admit there was some inspiration drawn from it (even if it was merely a motivational kick he needed to ship)
English

@jakegallen @mrTee88734384 @ponderware @midnight426 Very interesting. But yeah, it's important not to call Mooncats the "first on-chain generative art", but that's just incorrect.
English

@cyluuuu @mrTee88734384 @ponderware Yeah, I believe MoonCats are partially on-chain, with intentions to become fully on-chain soon, while the Boutique accessories are fully on-chain.
@midnight426 Do you have an article or could you clarify please 🙏
English

Lesson 1 : Those are #mooncats
Lesson 2 : They are the 1st truly on-chain generative art from 2017 made by @ponderware
Lesson 3 : 🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀

English

@mrTee88734384 @ponderware Read the article. "On-chain" has a precise meaning.
Maybe call Mooncats "the first blockchain generated art" or something like that. Sounds even better.
But calling it "on-chain" is just incorrect.
English

@cyluuuu @ponderware The instructions are only instructions and not the picture itself. Love tech and art so much !
English

@mrTee88734384 @ponderware There are tiers of how "On-chain" an artwork is, and it's a very precise designation. Here's a good article about it: nft.substack.com/p/tokensmart-n…
English

@mrTee88734384 @ponderware Not true. Autoglyphs instructions are stored *fully* on-chain.
Art Blocks use common libraries (and refuse custom ones) in order to minimize centralized dependencies.
Mooncats used a custom parser stored on Github, a centralized database. But it was added to Arweave this year.
English

@niksko @MaciejBudkowski @cdixon "Ownership" in Web3 is about the user.. users owning their data, not companies.
Centralized, privacy violating corps is what decentralization fights.
English

@mrTee88734384 @SurfingOtis Autoglyphs are a diff topic, but just to add re that: they do have a smart contract output that natively shows the design. Arguably, it's *still* the most on-chain of all projects we've seen to date, as it doesnt even require any in-browser assembly.
English

@mrTee88734384 @SurfingOtis But I agree, Mooncats are still fascinating. Probably need to come up with a new term.. maybe "blockchain generated" art?
English

#CryptoPunks were generated off-chain and then placed on the Ethereum blockchain
#MoonCats however, were randomly generated ON-chain, at the time of rescue
The user then decided whether or not they would adopt the generated cat
Adding another layer to their generative nature
