Stock picking is possibly one of the best hobbies of all time.
It’s extremely fun.
Its competitive.
There are many ways to win.
You can always improve.
If you’re decent at it, it’s life changing.
It’s one of those hobbies that is healthy both in mind and healthy financially.
I’m also a firm believer that picking stocks encourages people to invest far more than they would otherwise if they only picked retirement ETFs. The fun and competitive aspect to it encourages more focus and more deposits.
I have possibly gotten thousands, maybe tens of thousands, to take investing a little more seriously. That may be the single best thing I accomplish with my career, and I’m fine with that.

@Topstep My account blew up today for absolutely no reason and so did many others due to a topstep x issue. Why has there been no mention of this for those of us affected. You can see in my trade logs I took no such trade to cause this and now my xfa is gone @MichaelPatak @Topstep

@MichaelPatak I was in a winning trade and then all of a sudden this pops up. A free reset on the day isn't enough this isn't right. The market gave tremendous moves today and only topstep customers were forced to not participate and have accounts blown for no reason.@MichaelPatak @Topstep

You need to understand and respect the importance of every day’s personality, or role. For example, do you really think it’s random that n Oct 10th the thing traded back to Mondays ( Sep 15th) Asia Natural script with those OB within that script? In the hourly , it traded back to Monday Sep 15th. Even better , add the .5 of the range between the Sep 12 and Sep 15th OBs upper wicks. There’s a relationship between PD arrays that print very near eachother in time. Those two OBs were left there, but the algo knew it would refer back to them since the time of their inception. What was the reaction of those arrays? Notice the second wick traded above the 15ths wick. Notice Asia is below the high of both wicks ( see pic). Notice there wasn’t bearish MSS when it traded into those arrays on Oct10th. Rather, it returned simply to accumulate more longs.
