@PhumlaniMMajozi The state bought 100s of farm land through the last 30 years which now lay dormant, a loss that could be turned in usefull productivity. Fill those farms with the homeless and unfortunate, teach them the trade, build a school on each and boost unemployed teachers. A good start.

If I were President of South Africa, I’d pursue a policy of leaving South Africans alone. Leave South Africans alone and focus on ensuring stronger law and order, quality education, and skills development. Let robust capitalism be in control. If @elonmusk succeeds in making us a multiplanetary species, the risk of human extinction drops to nearly zero. He should be recognized as a national treasure. A simple “thank you” doesn’t come close to what he deserves.
