Enough of the special favors to the boomers. They have almost all of the wealth. No one should be paying property taxes, but if you eliminate it on the wealthiest group, it pushes the burden onto struggling families. We get it, they have the numbers so they can take advantage of everyone else by out-voting them, but it doesn't mean they should.

@FourSkinners @greenink68 @AriZonanHODL He mentioned earlier that he barely knew his parents. That's probably why. Not meaning it as a put-down, it's just unfortunate. When someone's parents don't show care to them, fair chance that person doesn't show it to others.

@greenink68 @dablack @AriZonanHODL So what you’re saying is if I trick old people into signing all their wealth away, that’s fine. If I hack your computer and release your internet history, fine. Steal your bank accounts and drain them, totally fine. You’re a fucking sociopath.

My dad: yeah I’m gonna sell my F150, it’s a good truck but I want a different color. Me: you mentioned that the transmission was going out? Were you gonna get that fixed before you sell it? Dad: *visibly frustrated and annoyed now* Did I tell you about that? Boomers

@Tsar_Martyr You do realize the majority of atheists were raised with religion and realized down the line that the cult they were being raised in made no sense? I was raised Christian my entire life, realized at about 17 that it didn’t make any sense, officially became atheist at 20

I hear a lot of Christians say that they don’t go to church. Why not? What do you do to replace worshiping at church? I’m genuinely curious.

@GarthVader1313 @greenink68 @AriZonanHODL I'm about to open a call center and tell them they won the sweepstakes. Just need social security number and bank info and we'll deposit the winnings. Should see the money in the account within three business days. Congratulations!

The only reason the messages seem consistent is because Islam teaches the New Testament got corrupted. The Quran has a totally different Jesus. The real Jesus taught radical love and forgiveness. Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you. His message was about heart-change and trusting him as the way to the Father, not law, deeds, or fighting. If you have to assume the New Testament is corrupted to make them line up, then they're not the same message. That's why they look inconsistent to me.

Cenk Uygur: "When Candace said 'I've been a victim of Israeli propaganda my whole life - they got me to hate Muslims, I thought: wait a minute. Israeli propaganda brainwashed me into hating Muslims. The media called Palestinians terrorists while Israel took their land in '48, '67, and Gaza. All lying in unison to get us to support Israel - and to hate Muslims so it's easier to attack them"

One of these three ways: 1. Distribute all of the FICA taxes equally to all US Citizens regardless of employment. (This would make sure kids and unemployed got covered at same amount) 2. Distribute half of FICA taxes to all and the other half based on amount contributed. (Kids and unemployed would get half, encouraging employment. Kids healthcare typically costs less than adults.) 3. Have the State Medicaid programs cover them.

Ok. Take government completely out of healthcare. No rules. No laws. No Medicare. No Medicaid. Hospitals, insurance companies, can do anything they want. What do they do ? If you were running any of the biggest insurance companies or hospitals, what would you do differently once gov was completely out of healthcare ?
Matthew Bednarik@BednarikMatt

@mcuban @GovBillLee Or just let the free market compete and get the government out of Healthcare. A free market would inevitably lead to lower costs for consumers.

Islamic religion sucks too because it follows Muhammed instead of Christ. They claim to revere Christ, but they hold the demon-derived teachings of their false prophet ahead of him. Some Jews and (Zionist Christians) demonize them on an extreme level though, ready to exterminate all Muslims like they aren't even people. I agree that they should convert to Christianity if they are coming to the USA. That is what assimilating here really means. Some atheist or agnostic person is going to disagree, but they are likely deriving their morality from the Christian culture they are lucky that the grew up in.

@OunkaOnX What I don’t get- if Islam is so great and Muslims are so good, why are they here? They don’t intend to assimilate, they want to take over so I think it’d be best if they went back to Iran

Basic healthcare is paid for out of the Health Savings Account (HSA) that gets money deposited in it every month from FICA taxes that are paid in. People use that money for anything healthcare-related thing they need and have an incentive to shop around because they keep what they don't spend. Thousands of dollars per person per year going into each account. Could do it either way on the insurance part of it, families could buy a plan that covers all of them, or just individually. It would only be needed for major catastrophic instances since their Health Savings Account will have tens of thousands and eventually hundreds of thousands of dollars in it. Everyone could see the doctors of their choice without networks, paying them cash from their HSA. And have plenty for dental, vision, and hearing.

Just distribute FICA tax revenue to people's HSAs every month and let them contribute addtionally with no cap. Let them keep and invest what they don't spend on healthcare for their retirement. Now most people don't need much for insurance, just a catastrophic plan with a $25k, $50k, or $100k deductible once their HSA grows enough. Let States handle their own medicaid programs if they want to take extra care of those with constant lifelong conditions or if a person's HSA money runs out. Similar to Singapore model only better.

When there is a direct doctor-patient relationship and not 3rd party payors, free market healthcare will be restored. Consumers will shop based on quality and price. Regulations and barriers to entry will no longer push up prices on a massive scale. Administrative bloat will vanish. The cost of Healthcare will be a fraction of what it is now because true market competition will bring it down. Insurance will be indemnity only. No network HMO nonsense.
