@adammocklerr Religion is a fairytale. Should be banned from political life altogether. Literally arguing over a gender of something no one has ever seen based on a bible written in an era when there’s no way god would be described as anything but male.

James Talarico said “God is non-binary” in 2019 and that offended my Christian ears. Therefore, I will vote for the serial adulterer who steals from thy neighbor and who will most certainly abuse his power once in office.

This is the Democrat party. Evil, hateful and no shame for being vulgar and disgusting. I don’t understand how anyone can confuse voting for these vile people.

The official Democrat Party account just responded to Stephen Miller with: "Shut up you ugly f*ck." This is the party that spent years lecturing America about civility, unity, and healing. The party that cried when Trump was “mean” on Twitter. Now, let’s recall: -the autopsy they just released. -the $17.5 million in debt -the deleted Memorial Day post This is who they really are. And they wonder why they keep losing. 😂

@8ironmike @scarylawyerguy One thing I admire about republicans is that they have zero principles and will sell out anything about themselves for the person with an R next to their name. Total loser people, but definitely willing to do whatever to win.

This is about politics and what’s best for you and your family. You’re not voting on his past personal issues. Paxton has a long and very successful track record of standing up for Texans. Talarico, little if any. Our state and country are far better served by Paxton. He’s a bulldog and d desperately needed.

Can someone who knows TX politics better than me explain whether Talarico has a legit shot? Seems like Paxton's corruption and immorality is well known among voters, and at least among Rs, not really an issue, so how does Talarico break the 32 year shut out streak?

@overton_news That doesn’t mean anything for the general. Texas is a closed primary so the diehard true believer morons like Scott Jennings come out to vote. Wait until independents and non-trump republicans have their say.

Scott Jennings delivers the painful truth to CNN about what tonight’s primaries in Texas mean. It was the exact same lesson seen in Indiana, Louisiana, and Kentucky — whether Democrats choose to acknowledge it or not. JENNINGS: “Look, the bottom line is this...if Donald Trump wants you to be the nominee of the Republican party for virtually any office, he can will it into existence.” “And that has happened again tonight in Texas.” “There’s also an Attorney General campaign going on underneath this. I don’t think we’ve called it yet, but there’s a strong undercurrent of who’s for Trump and who isn’t in that race.” “And it looks like the more Trump aligned candidate is going to win down there as well.” “So, you know, we’re learning this lesson over and over again.” “Indiana, Louisiana, Kentucky, where I live and now Texas over and over again.” “We’re learning, if Donald Trump wants you to have the party’s nomination, the voters look at that and say, we trust the president’s judgement and we’ll give it to you.”

@DecodingFoxNews This is wonderful if you’re Democrat. Let them deny reality - it worked so well for democrats in 2024 when ppl were feeling pinched and they say no everything is fine. Keep denying reality right to a major L.

Over the course of two week Greg Gutfeld managed to make light of sky high fertilizer and gasoline prices caused by the war in Iran. Last week his mocking comment about gas prices was during discussion about fraud. I'm sure farmers in this country found it hilarious.

If Democrats can’t reject extremism in Michigan and Maine, we don’t deserve the Senate. Politics without principle is craven opportunism. And if we’re willing to excuse anything to win, then what exactly are we winning for?

Trump betrayed a decent, honorable man who had a 99.2 percent record of supporting him in the U.S. Senate. He destroyed the career of U.S. Senator Cornyn to elevate a dishonest, impeached and corrupt crook named Ken Paxton. (Google him. This guy is terrible.) When the President of the United States happily backs a bad man and throws a good man overboard, it sends a horrible message to the next generation. This president continues to do moral and ethical damage to the nation that will be hard to undo. Not surprised. But still disappointed in where GOP voters are.

@ggreenwald This lady is a loon - the Trump family has been the most corrupt in politics ever. Further, Harris becoming the nominees is not corruption - parties can choose their nominees any way they want - if ppl don’t like it don’t vote for that person.

There was only one thing that surprised me about the Jubilee with MAGA die-hards. It wasn't that some people scream and refuse to stop talking. It wasn't that these were mostly young people cheering and finding purpose in wars but never fighting in them. It wasn't that their politics is more of a cult of personality. All expected and found in all factions. It was that, despite being political junkies, they had no idea about Trump's enormous corruption scandals because the corporate and independent media they consume doesn't mention it. They had no idea it existed:

Weather heating up. They tell us to pay special attention to motorcycles. Good point. It’s well taken. But this thing is a two-way street. Motorcyclists — especially those on street bikes — ride like boneheads sometimes. I see it regularly.

Graham Platner calls out Jeff Bezos: “There’s absolutely no question that if we target the wealth where it has been hoarded for decades and put it into social programs like healthcare, childcare, paying teachers what they are worth, we will absolutely improve the lives of working Americans. I think what he is pitching is propaganda. It’s meant to protect himself and protect his crony friends and we’re gonna come after them for it”

“You don't have much experience with Latin American hookers, do you?” More deleted Reddit comments tied to Maine Democratic Senate candidate Graham Platner are surfacing as scrutiny over his online history intensifies. In newly uncovered posts from 2012, Platner discussed prostitution overseas and defended men who cheated on their wives while abroad, writing that infidelity and loyalty to fellow soldiers were “not mutually exclusive.” The comments add to a growing archive linked to Platner that also includes posts insulting the U.S. Army, mocking a Purple Heart recipient, using slurs, and expressing support for political violence — creating new headaches for Democrats in his bid to unseat incumbent Republican Sen. Susan Collins.

The highest national average price for U.S. gasoline was $5.02 per gallon (regular unleaded) in mid-June 2022. Because of Biden’s inflation, $5.02 in June, 2022 would be worth $5.62 today. Perhaps someone can help me find Reich’s posts complaining about Biden-era inflation.
Robert Reich@RBReich

Memorial Day food staple prices are up an average of 13%. Americans will spend $2B more on gas over the holiday weekend due to the highest gas prices in nearly four years. Domestic plane tickets are 31% more expensive than in January. Welcome to Trump’s “New Golden Age.”

@CreativeDeduct @mcuban That’s exactly what I want for me or my loved ones if they’re sick - the whims of a profit seeking entity “catering” to me when giving me insurance will mean they will lose money. Sounds like a great plan

@mcuban @dorchen2025 Someone else will cater for them. That's how a free market works. Supply meets demand. We all know that there's almost universal agreement on the principle of universal access to health care. The private non-profit or charitable sector would work it of.

Ok. Take government completely out of healthcare. No rules. No laws. No Medicare. No Medicaid. Hospitals, insurance companies, can do anything they want. What do they do ? If you were running any of the biggest insurance companies or hospitals, what would you do differently once gov was completely out of healthcare ?
Matthew Bednarik@BednarikMatt

@mcuban @GovBillLee Or just let the free market compete and get the government out of Healthcare. A free market would inevitably lead to lower costs for consumers.

@mcuban I don’t advocate for that system, I agree with you. I’m saying that’s what would happen if you strip away regulation and unfortunately people who can’t get insurance would be left out. Most ppl wouldn’t like the system.

Tim Dillon on Thomas Massie’s loss: “I don’t know how you run a country where people can just dump $32 million into a race.” “This guy who’s like, release the Epstein files.” “Prosecute pedophiles.” “Get out of foreign wars.” “He loses to a guy who’s like: let’s cover up the Epstein files.” “Let’s not prosecute pedophiles.” “Let’s go to war with your kids.” “You would think just platform to platform, that’s a tough sell.” “If you spend enough money, you can just create any reality you want.” “No one knows who the hell the other guy is.” “He was just handpicked, came out of nowhere … was like, ‘we gotta get kids back into the military, we gotta get them to Iran now.’” “You would think that’s probably not a super popular idea.” “Let’s get your son out of the house and into Iran.” “You would think that as ideas go, that’s probably a relatively hard sell.” @TimJDillon
