This is about politics and what’s best for you and your family. You’re not voting on his past personal issues. Paxton has a long and very successful track record of standing up for Texans. Talarico, little if any. Our state and country are far better served by Paxton. He’s a bulldog and d desperately needed.

Can someone who knows TX politics better than me explain whether Talarico has a legit shot? Seems like Paxton's corruption and immorality is well known among voters, and at least among Rs, not really an issue, so how does Talarico break the 32 year shut out streak?

Over the course of two week Greg Gutfeld managed to make light of sky high fertilizer and gasoline prices caused by the war in Iran. Last week his mocking comment about gas prices was during discussion about fraud. I'm sure farmers in this country found it hilarious.

Trump betrayed a decent, honorable man who had a 99.2 percent record of supporting him in the U.S. Senate. He destroyed the career of U.S. Senator Cornyn to elevate a dishonest, impeached and corrupt crook named Ken Paxton. (Google him. This guy is terrible.) When the President of the United States happily backs a bad man and throws a good man overboard, it sends a horrible message to the next generation. This president continues to do moral and ethical damage to the nation that will be hard to undo. Not surprised. But still disappointed in where GOP voters are.

There was only one thing that surprised me about the Jubilee with MAGA die-hards. It wasn't that some people scream and refuse to stop talking. It wasn't that these were mostly young people cheering and finding purpose in wars but never fighting in them. It wasn't that their politics is more of a cult of personality. All expected and found in all factions. The highest national average price for U.S. gasoline was $5.02 per gallon (regular unleaded) in mid-June 2022. Because of Biden’s inflation, $5.02 in June, 2022 would be worth $5.62 today. Perhaps someone can help me find Reich’s posts complaining about Biden-era inflation.

Ok. Take government completely out of healthcare. No rules. No laws. No Medicare. No Medicaid. Hospitals, insurance companies, can do anything they want. What do they do ? If you were running any of the biggest insurance companies or hospitals, what would you do differently once gov was completely out of healthcare ?

@dorchen2025 @mcuban This is why il no longer seeking help for some of my conditions. I went bankrupt after my spinal surgery. Can no longer afford procedures. It’s all too expensive. Exclude pre existing? I was born with it! Ugh

@mcuban I don’t advocate for that system, I agree with you. I’m saying that’s what would happen if you strip away regulation and unfortunately people who can’t get insurance would be left out. Most ppl wouldn’t like the system.
