At some point @Tesla not allowing FSD transfers will be a drag on sales as owners who will want a new model or newer Tesla will not follow through on a new purchase as they won’t want to give up FSD they paid for already to then become a subscriber. As MYL rolls out I wonder how many MY owners would upgrade but don’t because of this reason. Saw @DennisCW_ decide not to do get MYL for this very reason.

Model YL does not have camera washers for front fenders or the rear trunk camera. We were hoping they may start to include them for customer cars. But so far not yet.

It’s not like Tesla employs the most people in automotive in California… OHHH WAIT, they employ the most people AND manufacture the most EVs in California. What a shame none of these other companies would meet the $50k or less cap if it applied to them. They can’t even make a profitable EV, let alone one under $50k. It’s not Tesla’s fault these other companies can’t make profitable EVs. Rivian has a chance with the R2; hopefully they can make it happen. I don’t know about Lucid—maybe the Saudis keep them alive.

@OverlyTrev This is more about Newsom getting press for his presidential bid than actually helping customers. Rivian and Lucid only sold 15k total cars last quarter. Tesla sold ~500k cars, with a high percentage in CA. The state can't afford to subsidize Tesla sales.

Rivian and Lucid get special treatment while Tesla is capped at $50k. There is no MSRP cap for the $3,500 EV rebate for Rivian and Lucid because they’re incorporated in California, but Tesla is capped at $50k because it’s incorporated in Texas. Even though Tesla produces over 100,000 vehicles at its Fremont factory and those two companies produce none. Clear bias here.

@teslascope @wholemars I firmly believe all the 100% FSD people ignore the poor routing and let the car park where it wants to keep the streak, but then move it manually. FSD 14.3.4 is really good, but no way 100% good.

The very first recorded drive on our platform of Full Self-Driving V14.3.5 (2026.20.6.6) was 100% on FSD. Neat!

Josh West intentionally grabbed and pulled on the steering wheel of a Tesla Robotaxi during a ride to see what would happen. He did it multiple times from the backseat. The Robotaxi responded by braking, giving safety alerts, and contacting support. He also unbuckled his seatbelt while the vehicle was moving and, after the ride, put one of his own stickers on the Robotaxi. The Tesla team reviewed the trip, cited safety violations and property damage, and suspended his Robotaxi access. Then he turned around and made a video titled “I Got BANNED From The Tesla Robotaxi Network… So You Don’t Have To!” No… You didn’t do this “so we don’t have to.” Nobody needed you to grab the steering wheel of an unsupervised Robotaxi. Nobody needed you to intentionally trigger its safety systems. Nobody needed you to put your sticker on a vehicle that doesn’t belong to you. You did it for content. And this is exactly the kind of stupid shit that pisses me, many investors, and many hardworking employees on the Tesla team off. The @Tesla team has spent YEARS working their asses off to make unsupervised Robotaxis a reality. Engineers have dedicated countless hours to building, testing, and improving this technology while Tesla fights through regulatory scrutiny and proves the system can safely scale. Then a fool gets access and intentionally fucks with the vehicle for a YouTube video. Think about how selfish that is. Millions of people are waiting for this technology to expand. Tesla employees have spent years of their lives working to get it this far. The last thing the program needs is some attention seeker intentionally creating safety incidents for clicks. If you’re lucky enough to get access to a Tesla Robotaxi, respect the fucking technology, respect the vehicle, and respect the people who spent years building it. Sit down and buckle up. Keep your hands off the steering wheel. Don’t put or do shit on a car that isn’t yours. And enjoy the fucking ride. It really shouldn’t be that difficult. The Tesla team has worked too damn hard to get to this point for fools chasing YouTube views to jeopardize it for everyone else. Don’t be like this fool.
